Accusize Industrial Tools APMT1604PDER-H2 PVD Coated Carbide Inserts for Machining Stainless Steel, 10 Pc Set, 1056-1604x10

We use these in my shop to machine aluminum pump bodies on a mill. I have a 9 tool rotary cutter and I can get roughly 100 4” diameter bore cuts out of one cutting edge. 400 per insert is well worth the money and they provide a beautiful finish. They are definitely cheap enough to try, and if you take care of your tools you’ll probably love ‘em.

I use these for parting metal on a lathe. I have not had any problems parting up to 1 3/8” round stock. I can’t quite get 1 1/2” because my holder bottoms out just before it gets that deep. I’m completely satisfied with these inserts.

These inserts are good. They hog out mild steel with deep 0.200 cuts and leave a good surface finish on the final pass of 10 thou'. Tough too. I see no sign of wear after making a good pile of chips. The chips it makes are nice brown or blue and the chip breaker works well.

Great tool, leaves a beautiful surface finish on aluminum up to 5.95" wide with Apkt160408-Lh Carbide Inserts, available on Amazon. the inserts that are provided are not great for aluminum. Slow head speed and feed rate are the key to a nice finish

Been machining soft steel and some tool steels. Inserts are holding up great. Worth the purchase.

Great cutting ability even cuts. Good price.

These cut as good as Kuocera brand. We'll see if the last . but for half the price it might be a good deal.

Held up well in my Manual Vertical mill, 2" shell mill. I cut some case hardened brake press tooling and they held up pretty well for being an Iscar/Ingersoll Knockoff!
