Fit perfectly, easy to install, and it worked absolutely perfectly with no adjustments or anything necessary. Comes with multiple gaskets, I recommend using your old one to ensure your using the correct gasket, as in my application, more than one gasket fit on the engine, but only 1 gasket was correct. Make sure you check the gap in your spark plug, mine was open a little too much for my engine, but it's easy to adjust if your careful and know what your doing.

Excellent product!! It came with everything needed. It was very simple and easy to replace and I honestly think the generator runs better than it did when I bought it new. After I replaced the carb it started on the first pull.

The carb and other contents were packed nicely and were very protected. It was very easy to set up, gaskets were good and it required zero adjustment after install. In shopping for other kits I notice the fuel filter is included, this one does not offer that for some reason. For a new carb it should be included. However, I’m happy it worked right out of the box with almost no effort. Add a filter and an extra set of hose clamps and it’s a perfect kit.

I left my generator in the garage without running it for two years. Then last week, took it out for a test run. Bad news - it didn't run. Checking the gas tank showed rust and gasoline that stank and was gummed up. The good news: First, I removed the gas tank and cleaned it out. Then I bought a gallon of Evapo-Rust from my local auto parts store and used as directed to remove the rest. I then bought this kit. The kit includes a new gas tank filter, spark plug and a few other items needed for a complete overhaul. I then watched the video where the guy disassembles and re-assembles it. I then proceeded on my own. My own mechanical skills are sketchy at best. But it came apart without too much trouble, and went back together again without too much trouble. It then started the first time. What a relief. Only thing to note is that the video did not show how to replace the in-tank filter. In the video, there is an inline filter, but in this kit, it is not included. Instead, there is an in-tank filter. It is replaced by taking off the fuel shut-off switch assembly from the gas tank. Then, the filter pulls straight down and out. It's about 3 inches long, and 1/4 inch wide. The new one goes back in the same place. Then put the fuel shut-off switch assembly back in place. More tips: If your generator starts, and then stops after a few seconds, it means it is not getting enough fuel. If you then wait about 20 minutes, it will then start again because the fuel has had a chance to trickle down and fill the carb again. But once it is out of gas, it stalls again. Replacing the whole carb assembly is cheaper and easier than disassembly, cleaning, and then reassembly, but it could be done if you can't swing $25 bucks. The only issue I had is one gasket was baked on. But some scraping with a razor knife being careful not to scratch the surface did the trick with a little carb cleaner sprayed on to help break it down. Also there is one black plastic piece which is different on my Elect start Generator than what is included in the kit. However, this part doesn't need to be replaced, and I just used the original with no problem (happened to the guy in the video as well). You need only two wrenches - 8mm and 10mm. Now get to it!

I've been a motorcycle mechanic for over 30 years. When my Predator 8750/7000 Generator failed to start because I forgot to use fuel stabilizer (my fault) I rebuilt the carburetor. It started but would not run as smooth as it should. I bought this carburetor that came with the spark plug, fuel filter, fuel line, fuel shutoff valve, fuel auto shutdown solenoid, air filter & gaskets. I swear after installing this kit my generator runs smoother and it seems quieter than when it was brand new (could be my hearing or memory). Perfect replacement. Even a non mechanic can do this. I usually don't leave reviews but thought this was an exception. Kit was delivered at my doorstep 3 days after purchase. I dumped the old fuel from the gas tank, installed the fuel petcock, fuel filter, air filter. Installed the carburator, adjusted the valves (.004" - .006"). Put the choke on, turned on the fuel valve, hit the start button & it fired right up. I cant believe that it possible to get all this for $25. On a motorcycle this would be a few hundred dollars just for parts. I highly recommend this kit to anyone that owns a Predator 8750/7000 watt generator and is having the problems that I had from leaving old gas in the fuel tank, carburetor. It would have cost me more to buy the gaskets & spark plug than this whole kit costs. Unbelievable quality parts and seller. Highly recommended. 10 stars for sure. Don't waste your money buying any other lower quality carburetor kits from anyone else. I did my homework before I purchased this kit. I bought another brand for my pressure washer & was disappointed. After this purchase I contacted the seller & purchased a carburator/kit for my pressure washer & the results were the same as for the generator. Perfect/exact replacement for the pressure washer as the generator. If I have anymore problems in the future I will try to buy from this seller. Can't be more pleased & this is coming from a qualified motorcycle/small engine mechanic. Don't know what else to say except you can't go wrong with this kit if your experiencing the problems that I had with my generator. What a deal.l!
