Great value and quality
This alternator fit perfectly. Works great so far. One minor issue was that it didn't have the connecter to hook up the tachometer. Very simple fix and not a problem

Died after 18 Months
Buy OEM, this thing died after 18 months. Just poorly made.

Worked for my 98’ D1
Installed almost perfectly. There wasn’t enough thread engagement on the flag tab for the past on electrical connector with supplied hardware. I ended up using the old nut which luckily I kept track of. Other than the one issue it fixed my charging issue though I’ve not put any miles on it. Time will tell

Perfect fit
Fit my 1997 land rover discovery 1 perfectly and it starts up right away every time now. We'll see how it holds up for the price.

Remaned (expected) with Transpo Parts (unexpected and welcome)
I am in the process of rebuilding an alternator and had this one on hand as a back up. The parts in this remaned alt are the same parts I just ordered from Maniac Motors and quite frankly, im surprised and happy. I will be putting this on into my 97 Disco today. When my other parts get here, ill throw them on my older Magneti Marelli alt and hold as a back up.I do not however believe this to be 120amps as the 120amp version 4 pairs of diodes on the rectifier. I will test the unit out and confirm but from a visual inspection, it does not appear to be 120a.
