Not Like Molotow Sheer & It's Really An Chinese Ink . So that's dope ! stand out and know you got that Shaw brothers ink and others don't ! All in all quite good . Mix with the Otr concentrate . Fire mix

I ordered this to use in my refillable brush pens while I learned brush pen calligraphy, and it's worked beautifully for that. I finally ran out of this bottle after a couple of years of daily practice!The screw-down nozzle on this is a fantastic method that makes this almost impossible to spill, even when packed in my art bag for travel. The ink itself isn't quite as finely ground as it could be, but it's absolutely fine enough to not clog the fiber tips in my refillable brush pens, and of course will work perfectly with traditional brushes as well. It tends to a warm gray when diluted, which is normal for traditional sumi ink.

This ink is very concentrated . If you are going to do characters it is perfect.,, That is what I use for my practice. It does have a scent but it is subtle. I think a bottle of this could last a very long time. I also add a bit of water to my little dish which makes it even go further. Have fun!!

I am a beginner so I can not give much about the quality of this ink. I know that the ink quickly into the brush. Deliver a smooth ink on Xuan paper. The smell is not strong enough to kick your nose, but of course not designed to deliver heaven sense.

After trying to make really black ink using a traditional ink stick and stone I decided I wasn't digging it! I guess if you really want to get into a zen moment then making the ink would help set the mood. But for me this was really the best way to go. The ink is very rich and black and a little goes a long way. It also makes great shades of gray.
