Perfect size to sit on a small TV tray sized table next to a sewing machine, with a miniature iron. Great to be able to press out a block as you go without having to trek to the big ironing board. Make sure to protect the tabletop underneath the wool mat, the wool retains heat well. It also does a nice job giving you smooth crisp flat results. Some odor, but not bad, after all it is wool and one should expect a little. Perfect size tor traveling with. Whether it's for classes or on a trip. I felt like I got a very good bargain on the price.

I absolutely love this thing! Works great for any surface, cloths or craft. Probably a bit small for clothes but perfect for any hot craft.

Great size and quality for alterations and projects. Holds the excess steam without a lot of seepage through the pad. Just thick enough without overwhelming small work areas. You will not be disappointed.

I sew a lot and use this beside my sewing machine. For example, i can iron the jelly roll rugs I make without disconnecting the rug from the machine. It saves time and thread and the finshed rug is flat !!!!!! What a great find this was for me. Totally recommend

This is a relatively small ironing mat. It is 14" x 11" and is best suited for ironing small items such as t-shirts. I could be used to iron a dress shirt in a pinch, but it would be a bit hard to use it for items much larger than that (like a suit jacket). It is perfect for someone with limited space who cannot accommodate a full-size ironing board, or for those who only need to iron occasionally. It is thick enough to protect whatever surface you put it on, and it does not slide around. The one drawback is that it is not really big enough to set an iron on and reposition what you are ironing, which is why you want to stick with smaller items. Ultimately, it works, but if you iron a lot, you will definitely need something larger than this.

I absolutely love this ironing mat! It's made of thick, high-quality wool and is perfect for pressing small fabric pieces while sewing. I ahead been using this almost daily and works well for ironing my sewing projects. The thickness is good. It doesn't slide while I am ironing and was a great price.
