Works great, relatively easy to install
I installed 2 of these inside a built-in hutch. They work great although with three standard wine glasses, the glasses do touch or are very closely spaced. I'm waiting for my first earthquake (I live in CA) to see how the glasses will ring. I'm no more worried than before about them breaking, but just closing the hutch door can lead to a little bit of clinking/ringing (not objectionable).Installation was a breeze. I unloaded the shelf and removed it. Marked where I wanted the racks to go. Got out my cordless drill and drilled some pilot holes for the screws (which might not be necessary if you have solid wood shelves, but I have veneered particle board which will crack). Put a drop of good old Elmers white glue in the screw holes, and then screwed in the supplied screws. Rehung the shelf and put the glasses up. About 20 minutes max. The rack also comes with some screw sleeves so that it can be installed on a drywall surface (e.g. a low soffit or something).A side benefit was that hanging the glasses freed up some space underneath for storage of other low-height items (e.g. wine glass charms, etc). What would make it 5 stars? Maybe a small "stop" on the open face so that the glasses couldn't shake themselves off the rack during an earthquake or after lots of little quakes (that we don't even notice any more).

Great & simple wine glass rack
I bought this because none of my cabinets are big enough for my 18oz wine glasses. This rack has three slots, and I can comfortably fit three wine glasses across the rack without the glasses touching one another. It took longer for my dad to explain over the phone how to use the drill than it did for me to install it. The box tells you to tape the rack to the cabinet and then drill the pilot holes, which you definitely need to do (it's too hard to hold up the rack to the holes you already drilled and try to put the screws in...trust me!). The problem I had with this was that the "rack" portion (the part that the bases of the wine glasses will eventually rest on) was too close to the holes, and I had to pull the drill bit out pretty far to get it to drill the pilot holes far enough. It ended up working out fine, and that's my only complaint about this rack. I'm obviously a novice installer, but I gently tugged on the rack and it is very sturdy. The wine glasses look great, and I'm really happy with this purchase!

Great, Simple Product
I found myself running out of space in my kitchen cabinets and realized that the wine/champagne glasses that I have (and rarely use more than one or two regularly) were taking up wayyyy too much space. I searched for under cabinet holders and read through many reviews. I was very surprised at how many people were disappointed with some of the choices on the market.I would not think that it would be all that hard for a company to make sure that standard wine/champagne/martini glasses can fit in the slots. I also do not think it should be that hard to get the measurements of the finished product correct. However, many of the competitive items seem to have those issues...not this one!I bought two sets of these and installed them the day I received them. They look great and have just enough space to slide all glasses in, even with a 1" or so wood overhang in front of the rack on the cabinet. I normally like to buy directly from Amazon and not a Third Party, like I did here, but the third party did an excellent job of meeting my expectations.Well worth the money. I've already had three people ask where I got them!

Great stemware rack that accomodates large base glasses
I have a collection of large goblet style wine glasses with a base that is 3 3/8". I had purchased another stemware rack from a different vendor that claimed to accomodate 3 1/2" base. To my disappointment, they wouldn't correctly accomodate my glass base diameter, which was smaller than what the stemware rack was purported to fit.So I placed the order for this item, which Amazon fullfilled in behalf of the Wine Enthusiast. True to the information that was provided, this stemware rack installed under my cabinet counter in less than 10 minutes and my wine glasses slide in and display perfectly. For my cabinets, there is a 1 1/2" recessed edge (meaning the frame around the cabinet overhung the bottom shelf leaving a recession of 1 1/2"). I figured I needed to put slats, or a spacer of some sort, to mount the rack and leave enough space to slide in the glasses. However, I found that the depth (height) was just enough to allow me to conveniently slide the glasses onto the rack while the rack itself is almost hidden by the recessed underside of the cabinet. In other words, for my purpose, the stemware rack was a perfect fit.

Only 2 glasses per row.
These are not terribly bad. I mean, they do hold my glasses up, and two units satisfy my current hanging wine glass needs. However, there is a major drawback for these. Each slot only holds two glasses safely, and I thought certainly I could get a third on there before I purchased them. Sure, you could slightly overlap the bases and squeeze a third on there, but you will likely lose it in a shattering death before long if you do. The only slot I could fit more than two glasses on was my end slot for champagne flutes. So - if it's important to you to have three or more on each opening, maybe look elsewhere. However, if it isn't that big a deal these do just fine - but make sure you buy enough to accommodate your glassware with this understanding of it's lacking capacity per row. If they'd made it a half inch longer or so in that direction I would give this product 5 stars. It is structurally sound and looks good so I'll keep the ones I purchased, but if I ever get any more wine glasses I'll have to find somewhere else to put them because the two I have are full up and any more of these units lined up would be overkill, visually, for the size of my kitchen.
