Morning Star Incense - Cedar - 50 sticks

I wanted a fresher smelling incense and this one has a lovely soft fragrance.If you want a 'bright', 'clean' cedar fragrance (like you'd get with perfume/aftershave), you'd be better off with an essential oil. You're not going to get as clean a cedar smell with this as it's obviously tempered by the actual incense smell - because it's incense! Might sound obvious, but some people might expect it to smell like a fragrance spray - it doesn't. It's more like incense with an undertone of cedar.A very nice refreshing incense though - will try the 'Pine' scent next. This brand is excellent.

I have bought most of the Incense sticks available on Amazon and E bay and chucked many purchses away because they smelt like cheap soap or stale perfume. This brand however is one that is consistently good and reliable accross its range. My favourite is Cedarwood which is quite strong and refreshing. These Incense sticks are on the short side compared to the average Tibetan and Indian products, but make up for their lack of length by having 50 sticks per packet. The burning time is about 30 minutes, and almost smoke free. If you find that you like Cedarwood, try the Green Tea sticks which are also exceptionaly fresh and pleasing. According to my nose the other incense sticks available in the Morning Star range have a very light and delicate scent which is perhaps just a bit too much on the soft side of soft.

Had been searching for cedarwood incense but was only familiar with Indian or Indian-style products that I can no longer find on Amazon or online. This is not identical but is still very pleasing. The sticks are very short. They fit well into the tiny ceramic holder which required a small dish to put it on to catch the ashes. Will buy again

I've bought this before and always like to have some in.It's a bit stronger than some other Japanese incense.I recommend it if you have a headache as it's cleansing and mildly invigorsting.

I bought these cedar wood incense sticks along with lavender. The cedar wood have a disgusting smell, I have thrown them away, however the lavender are lovely.

I was looking for something woody/tree-like/pine/burnt wood and this has perfect aroma, all natural.

Smells nice though.
