McCormickSea Salt Grinder, 6.1 oz

Great for our stay at vacation condo, and a great compliment to the pepper grinder. Used both for a week, cooking/grilling and table setting, for 6 people. Just the right amount!

Nice size grinder

I first became aware of this salt and the dispenser at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville restaurant in Key West. The salt is not iodized and there is a warning label to this effect. But if you eat seafood once in a while or take a multi-vitamin multi-mineral supplement you're probably getting enough iodine.Just for fun, if you buy this, try salting something like a hard boiled egg or some french-fried potatoes, and then put conventional salt on a similar sample. I predict you will notice a taste difference and it will be in favor of the non-iodized salt.The dispenser has coarse grains of salt inside and you twist the top to grind them down to a size appropriate for food consumption. The device appears to be durable. I see no reason why the dispenser should not be refillable, but that is how it is sold.

Hard to use. Salt is great

I've been using this grinder for most meals for about 7 months now and it just keeps going! I just noticed that the grind setting is adjustable and my setting produces very fine salt (I turn it several times over my rice, vegetables, and meats). I'm surprised that it lasts so long and tastes really good. I will likely purchase again soon!

This salt adds quality taste to any prod

Very user friendly to use. The grinding process is a fluid flow for everyday use for myself and my elderly parents. The cap is the only part that gives a little toughness; we just leave ours off entirely.Would recommend for all.
