originally bought this to clean gun but ended up just using for show looks good and didn't want to get it all covered with oil says will clean but didn't want to take chance

This is the best gun cleaning mat. It is very well made with a 1/4 inch thickness and excellent hemming for the edges. Cleaners and oils wipe right up without staining.

Good size for pistol cleaning. Larger than other pistol cleaning mats. Mat has a good tacky rubber bottom to prevent sliding around or damage to surfaces. The top material is a really durable, easily to clean, and seems like it will last a long time. It’s a heavy, high quality mat, not some flimsy piece of plastic. Highly recommend.

Because it's basically black, it's hard to find your little black screws so it would have been better for us if it was white or silver or tan or some other color than black.
