Lightweight and a nice fit
Very nice waterproof coat. Fit is nice, I'm between a medium and large generally and the medium is ample on me and will allow an additional layer like a fleece below. Very lightweight making it handy to carry in a small bag and very good quality. Had a good look around at other jackets and I'm glad I went for the Marmot.

Very functional and high quality
I bought this jacket along with Marmot's Precip Eco pants (same excellent material, waterproof and breathable). Like all Marmot clothing, good quality but a bit overpriced IMO (hence 4 stars). For this jacket in particular, Amazon's price varies from £76 to £131 depending on the colour (!?). I got the 'solar' colour which is very visible (I cycle) but darker and much more elegant than the horrible 'building site' yellow vests that are everywhere. I am slim (38" chest in t-shirt) and I bought the medium (which is only slightly large on me) since I want to wear warm layers under the jacket. With my Rab Microlight down jacket the fit is perfect. I've already tested the jacket in pouring rain (even with armpits zips semi-open) and not a drop has passed through. The jacket is just a rain shell so be prepared to layer up since cold-wise it is like wearing paper (although it's wind-proof). The advantage of being so thin is that you can pack the entire jacket in its left pocket. The only minor annoying things (personal preference) is the main zip on the (wrong) right side (American way) and the inexcusable lack of zip pullers which makes it difficult to zip/unzip with gloves.

Smart, light, great for travel
I love the cut and colour of this jacket. Its practical and easy to pack. Keeps out the wind and rain. I had an earlier version but this is better. Great value.

Excellent waterproof and windproof jacket
This is my second PreCip Eco Jacket. Got the first one 4-5 years ago. Use them on top of my fleece in the city or during light hiking. Such a combination is perfect for early spring and late autumn or even +5 - +7 during the winter in London's climate. Never washed the first one, though I used it a lot. Eventually, the inner lining of the jacket has cracked, which is the reason for buying a new one.

Great packable jacket
Wind and waterproof, lightweight. Ideal for dog walking. Use it all the time. Packs away when not needed.

Worth the price
It is really good, a bit better than you expected.

Disappointing
Not that breathable, perspiration builds up inside after half an hours walk even on a cloudy day. Furthermore it’s not particularly waterproof, especially on the arms which were soaked through inside 30 minutes in a persistent drizzle. Not recommended given the misleading hype and the price. Would send it back but unfortunately just a week or two outside the return window.
