It won’t do much if your hair isn’t light enough.

Color Charm Toners are designed to be used with the Color Charm 20 Volume Developer.

Q: What will happen if I put T35 on brassy/orange brown hair? I wanted to use with demi/low volume developer

Our Wella Color Charm Liquid Permanent Toner in shade T35 Beige Blonde requires hair to be pre-lightened to a gold shade and is not made to tone orange or brown hair. Our Color Charm Liquid Permanent Toners are made to be mixed with Wella Color Charm 20 Volume Developer to open the hair cuticle and make the toning result permanent. Our Wella Color Charm Demi Activating Lotion is a lower volume developer and should only be used with our Wella Color Charm Demi Permanent Hair Color. Mixing our Color Charm Liquid Permanent toner with the wrong developer is not recommended and will not produce the results you are looking for.

Q: I only need half the amount that one bottle makes. Can i use half of the toner and then keep the other half (not mixed w developer) sealed for la use?

Yes you can keep what product you do not use. I still have a half a bottle of color charm toner and even 1/2 a bottle of light auburn color form 4 months ago. As long as it is not mixed with the developer it should stay good for a few months. Hope this helps.
