Great headphones - comfortable, and functional!
Important disclosure: I haven't used these headphones while mowing or at a shooting range, so I can't speak to its effectiveness in those situations. If you're looking for something for those situations, I'd advise skipping this review. However, around the house, these headphones are wonderful. Some details:Functionality: The noise cancelling feature is pretty much perfect for what I use them for. They're not 100% noise cancelling, but honestly for me that's perfect. (I have kids, so I need to be able to hear if they need me.)Comfort: Honestly, these are more comfortable than most noise cancelling headphones I've used. They don't start to hurt after an extended period of wearing them, which is an issue I have for many other brands of headphones. These headphones are nice and snug and fit quite nicely.Price: Honestly, the comfort and effectiveness of the headphones is well worth the price.

Overstimulation? I don't know her
Maybe I'm on the spectrum, maybe I'm not. Either way all I know is I LOATHE loud noises and have to unintentionally hear every conversation at once in crowded places. When it gets too much, I become overstimulated and want to cry. This is my second time trying to find a set that actually meets my needs and these babies helped me so much. They're so comfortable to wear, along with doing a good job reducing the noise I hear. I don't have any issues with wearing them or how they feel. There's still background noise but it's not as bad or noticeable. They help me stay calm along with allowing me to focus. Not only do they feel comfortable but they get the job done.My only critique is to make them a bit more adjustable when putting them on, some of us have big heads (I don't have a big head but I wanna make those who do feel heard and seen).

They work! Earphones block sound!
These earphones are just what I wanted! They mute the sound of lawn mowers, weed eaters, edgers, leaf blowers, lawn vacuums, and hedge trimmers! They fit my head snugly and the earmuffs completely seal around my ears. I live on the ground floor of an apartment building within a retirement estates campus. The landscaping is impeccable, but NOISY and right next to my windows! With these earmuffs I don't hear any of that. They work! No bluetooth -- but I didn't want bluetooth, just silence, and that's what I got. They work to block sound. The fit is good for me, and they are light weight. I am a small woman, so i can't say they fit everyone, but they fit me. I am happy with the price, too.

Excellent performance, but durability leaves a lot to be desired
This is my second pair. The device tames the racket of a riding mower or a diesel-powered compact tractor, using similar technology to an aviation headset but without the electronics. Like an aviation headset, the device pinches various parts of your ears and becomes sweaty in hot weather, but it's better than losing your hearing. Its weight isn't a problem.I needed to order a replacement because the adhesives used in these devices weren't up to the job. The rubber seals ("gel seals" in aviation-speak) and the sound absorbent pads inside the earpieces separated from the plastic framework. It's not clear to me whether this happened as a result of heat damage from sitting in my car between uses or because of vibration when I'm wearing the device while riding the mower or tractor.

A nice reliable pair of ear defenders for autism
Appearance: The color pink is accurate to the picture shown.Size: Fits my adult head well, has expanders to fit height to size. I don’t feel like my head is being crushed as others have said, though I don’t have a wide head. Appearance wise, they look bigger than the ear defenders I typically see people wearing but I don’t mind.Ease of Use: They are very easy to fit back into a ball to carry. It takes a bit of pulling to get them to fit on the head because you have to expand the metal out of the cuffs. I was a bit surprised by the force needed but once I did it a few times it became easier.Feel: I can have these on my head all day long. The cuffs fit completely over my ears so they are extremely comfortable in that way. It does put pressure inside my ears as if I was on an airplane. It’s not majorly bothersome but takes a bit of getting used to.Sound: When I first put these over my ears, I actually started tearing up because everything got so quiet. All of the background noise just completely stopped. I can still hear people talking. I can hear sirens. I can hear overhead announcements. But it blocks out a lot of the music sounds that hurt as well as the general small repetitive noises that would make me angry like chewing or walking or people tapping, etc.Durability: I cannot say anything on this quite yet as I’ve only had them a few days, but so far they have been durable. I have taken them on a trip and they held up well with me tossing them around and dropping them. The cushion on the part that sits on my head is still in tact. The metal feels sturdy. The cushions on the ear muffs do not have any imperfections. And the pink part is a very hard plastic.Sleep quality: I actually have fallen asleep with these on and I didn’t wake up in pain at all. I was very comfortable the whole time. They are a bit bulky to get used to and lay on but once you figure out a good position, it feels nice.Overall I would recommend. This is my first pair of ear defenders so I have nothing to compare it to, but I really like these.Update 4 months later: I’m glad this review has been helpful so I’m adding this addition. I absolutely love these and am glad I picked this pair. I am now used to wearing them the majority of the day. The pressure in the ears is gone, the toughness of pulling the defenders to my size is gone and is now a smooth process. They are durable, pads are still cushiony with regular, frequent use. No scratches or scuffs. The pad on the headband is still sturdy and cushiony. They feel like an extension to me now that I’ve gotten used to them. Definitely recommend this brand.

Great sound blocking headphones!
These work great, I use them to muffle the sound on the mower. My ears rang after I mowed, and hurt a few hours later. So I bought these to help protect my hearing. I use them all the time, and they work great. I do recommend getting these if you need to muffle sound around you.

Highly recommend! Work great for monster jam & races!
These fit my 7 year old and myself! We have used these at both monster jam and sprint car races and they are awesome. The cushion is comfy and they didn’t squeeze my head. They fold up somewhat so they’re not as bulky for storage. I highly recommend these.. we have three pairs!
