Amazon Basics Wood Wobble Balance Trainer Board

We got this for my 6 year old that has been in physical therapy (PT) for over 2 years. She has issues with her knees (kneecap ligament issues) and a general overall physical issues, including muscle coordination, balance, strength, etc. In PT, we have worked on working all the little muscles in her feet, ankles, knees, legs, core, etc. As well as coordination and balance. We have only had this 24 hours now, but it is AMAZING!!! We have already seen such a major improvement from when we got it! More than that, my kid actually thinks it’s fun!!! We just leave it out in the living room and she gets on it for just a bit several times a day, all on her own. Which is great for all the things we want to achieve. Also, my husband and I, the heaviest of which is around 350lbs I think, have tried it out too. I’m surprised how many times each of us has stepped on it too. Ha ha ha. It’s surprisingly fun! And it obviously can hold more weight than I thought. I think this would be great for any kind of surgery/injury rehab as well as individuals with unique physical traits. We LOVE it! You don’t slip on it and it just works so well! Definitely worth the money we spent!

This thing has been excellent, especially for the price. I've enjoyed using it even just for a few minutes, or while doing other activities. It's decent quality and has some textured material on top that makes it slip resistant. It's fun, easy to figure out and use.

I wanted a balance board but did not want something that would occupy a lot of space and this one fit exactly what I was looking for. I use this almost daily to work on my propioception.It has good grip, but I recommend using this either barefoot or with athletic shoes. Despite its anti-slip feature, I do not recommend using this with socks alone.Overall, it is functional, has a good design, and meets my exact needs. Bonus, it can be used by a wide range of ages. I would let my octogenarian dad use it BUT with support (something to hold on to) for his safety.Depending on how much time you spend on it, it will work your glutes and core as you will need to engage them in order to keep straight.

Great return on investment item! I use it every day while I work at my standing desk. The only problem is that the board has very aggressive anti-slip, low grid sand paper like top and it rips socks. So I took another same grid sand paper and sanded off most of it, leaving just enough for it to be non-slippery and it's good now. I wish it came like that so I wouldn't have to do it.

Nice product for 20 dollars delivered. Seemed to get harder to balance the longer I stood on it. Only used it a few minutes so far. Much safer than the board on pole type that almost gave me a concussion.

This seems a lot less expensive that other balance trainers. It works just fine. I wanted a wobble board because my balance has gotten crummy as I've aged into senior citizenship. I started skate boarding, surfing and snow boarding to improve my balance but they're all so exhausting I thought it would be faster to improve my balance from the convenience of my own home with something like this. I didn't buy for a long time because they all seemed so expensive until I found this one. Works great. I stand between two walls so I can steady myself and then I let go and try to balance. Perfect for my purposes. If I get good at this, I'm hoping it will make my skate boarding, surfing and snow boarding easier.

Cons:> It looks basic, so it doesn't look fancy and is not selfie-worthy for your social media.> Agree with some negative reviews that it could hurt your crybaby feet if you didn't wear shoes, and could potentially hurt your ass, if you sit on it naked.> It can be dangerous if you fall off it, just as it could be dangerous if you fall on a deceptively flat floor.> It could be a little bigger for some bigger folks, but at that point, you need more help than this do hickey.Pros:> It is a solid product, but I would image the plastic can wear off over time if you have sandpaper for flooring.> It works out my core and has inadvertently improved my balance(or at least it feels like it).> It is very affordable for $20.> It is fairly easy to transport, light and about a foot and a quarter across.> It works great on carpeted floors(logic says it may be slippery on smooth/ glossy ceramic or vinyl tile (but what isn't?!).> Could still use it for your "basic bitch exercise snack selfie".

I have a few different balance boards and this is one of the easiest to use. It is safe since it touches the floor on one side pretty quickly if you get off balance, so doesn't make you fall. Perfect for a beginner, kid, or someone that doesn't have great balance, but more advanced users can still benefit, and add additional challenge by using dumbells, touching their toes, stand on one foot, or other more advanced exercises on it. It is great for use at a standup desk too. Good value for the price.
