BIC Cristal Xtra Bold Ballpoint Pen

Love it , just the way i wanted

Great pens if you want an easier to see thick, dark line, highly recommend for anyone who can't see as well as they used to. This was one of those 'bought it originally in a local store and then couldn't find it again when I wanted more' items; once you've tried these you won't want to use the standard ballpoint nibs again.

so surprised by this ink. its bold and beautiful in this bic. yes it will bleed and spread. your writing hand will come up with smearing on it. but it comes off. obviously if you are preparing important documents you arent using this pen anyways. but for notes studying doodling or recreational anything these things are a pleasure for me and worth the more wild existence felt when not worrying about imperfection. sometimes you just have to be happy you can find a bold pen in such a good deal. i bought two boxes so far and feel very hoard ish about them. as i do with all pens i love. this is not a pen for the OCD in all of us. its a writing instrument for the care free part of our personality. enjoy!

In the picture you will see the ink and where it just stops giving me ink....I have ordered 4 to 6 boxes of these over the pandemic....I love these pens....but by the circled point....it doesn't give me anymore or barely any ink.I have to throw them away....do you realize how many pens I have to throw away....why do these do this...as you can see from the picture above, I keep buying these pens, A. Because I love the way they write and B. I keep thinking I will get a box of pens that let me use all the ink.Check out the last 4 sentences. Ink is gone .....pen use....over with....I'm gonna need a refund please....on all 6 boxes.

I've been an ardent fan of BIC pens since grade school in the sixties - they always worked and you could look through the barrel and see the ink supply go down to the bottom. As time went on and I picked up advertising pens, I noticed that for the most part they stopped working while still full of ink. A lighter or match was needed to keep the ink flowing, but that was mostly a temporary measure.I felt that a pen's quality is a reflection on the company, so when I started my business in 1998 I chose a large diameter barrel, click style of BIC for my give-away ad pens, at a premium price, and I used them personally. I also use the 4 color ones for on-the-job delineating of plans and I buy them by the dozen.Then sometime after 2005, the 4-color and other styles of BIC I bought for personal use started to need the match or lighter technique; summer or AZ winters. Particularly embarassing when trying to color-code a drawing in front of a client and lose a color.I selected these larger-ball units for general writing and after a few months, I've started to experience skips with these. I also can't write as finely as I need to, but they perform better than normal BIC's ball diameter, but there is still something wrong with this picture. Now that we're looking to start up ad pens again, I have to wonder what brand and style can I reliably buy a thousand at a time and know they will be a positive reflection on my business and for general use, not get pitched after a month or so.

Super smooth. Why can’t all pens do this?

I cannot write with any other pen. This Bic is like writing with a little bit of heaven! The ink is smooth and writes beautifully!I love the smoky color of the pen casing. This is truly my favorite pen!
