My dogs rate them as "Meh"
A bit disappointed as Pawstruck products I've purchased in the past have been noticeably better. I ordered these because the trachea jerky brand I usually buy was going to take 10 days to arrive, and I had let my stock run too low ( I have five Pugs and each one gets a trachea chew every day to help keep their teeth clean) I bought these as a stopgap until the others arrived. These are very thin and also all were on the shorter side...which is fine if you have a tiny toy breed that isn't an aggressive chewer. They aren't what my dogs are used to, nor do they really like them much, so I'm glad I only got a small bag. This won't stop me from buying other Pawstruck products, because they made nice Bully Sticks, which my dogs do like very much.

Thinnest & least substantial jerky-style dog treat ever! I CANNOT recommend these & here's why:
I REALLY wanted my dogs to love these treats and hoped they'd eagerly grab them and carry them over to their bed and chew away for awhile--especially when I'm in the kitchen cooking or we are sitting down to eat. Unfortunately, both of my dogs sniffed these treats.....pulled back & cocked their fuzzy heads to one side of the other and shot me a "what the heck is this" look that frankly caught me totally off guard! After duly encouraging both of my dogs (a solid white 11y/o Miniature Schnauzer + a silver & white Morkie, 16y/o) to go ahead and take the treats....my Morkie is now completely deaf, but was trained with voice commands & hand signals thankfully....each dog reluctantly & rather gingerly took hold of the treat and Bruno, my Morkie trotted off directly to his bed where he dropped it and laid down on top of it. He was just totally unenthused and though he HAS eaten 3 treats total over 2 weeks, he would much rather have his usual "Nudges" brand jerky treat.Bruno is not finicky....neither is Otis, the Schnauzer, for that matter! Heck, Otis will eat just darn near anything he can manage to get in his messy, bearded snout! But, with two older dogs who have each lost at least 2 teeth these treats proved to frustrate our dogs--to the point that Bruno just gave up and walked away from last one I handed him.Once these treats fall out or their mouths and onto a flat, slick or continuously smooth surface, like our hardwood floors, or tile; as well as the extremely smooth concrete of our covered porch, both dogs struggle endlessly and become irritable / outwardly frustrated due to it being almost entirely impossible for them to pick these utterly wafer-thin (insanely so) jerky treats up with their own mouths! We have to intervene because they end up being incapable of doing much aside from LICKING at these doggone treats, which end up saliva-stuck to our hardwood floors. Sound weird? Yes, it truly is odd as hell. It's gross to watch Otis slop spit all over the floor while he largely chases the darn treat across the floor until it hits the baseboard or ends up under the edge of furniture. Not fun....for us or for them!Otis is just flat out the clutziest dog I've EVER encountered, he'll drop a treat--regardless of bread or type--usually 2 or 3 times before finally getting himself situated to sit or lay calmly and chew! Well, okay, so it's that, OR he basically inhales some things and freaks us out because we fully expect him to choke himself half to death one day. These being so papery-thin & lacking in texture, Otis has yet to grab hold of one and maintain hold for more than 2-3 seconds! No lie.Bruno has always been fairly casual and he has never been one to snarf down even his absolute FAVORITE snacks: tuna packed in spring water & Gala apples, both of which he and I share regularly. That all said, both of these boys have lost a few teeth over their lifetimes, which only aggravates these scenarios; especially with this particularly thin treat. Otis lost two of his canines & a couple of other teeth before we adopted him 2 years ago to save him from euthanasia after his human 'mom' died.Bruno still has all his canines, just lost a small molar and three of his tiny bottom incisers...which is rather hilarious now because instead of the underbite he's had all his life, now this tiny pink tip of a tongue just ever so slightly sticks out beyond the tip of his little black nose! Happens typically while he's sleeping or just relaxing with his mouth closed! Silly, silly, silly, but adorable. If you have older dogs, dogs with missing teeth, flat & rather smooth flooring surfaces or clumsy pups like Otis, these treats will prove to be ALL WRONG for your canine family members! I can't believe how thin these things are. They're literally just a bit thicker than a piece of standard newsprint. You can see light right through them....so don't expect these to be substantial like a bully stick or "Nudges" or even remotely like the type(s) of beef jerky that we humans eat. These, simply put, are more hassle than they are worth and oddly...neither of our dogs showed much interest or excitement over the smell or taste! Sad for $20 worth of "jerky treats" imho.Hope this helps someone out there to avoid similar disappointment!
