This has some good info for sure, but I wouldn’t say it has much advanced techniques or magic that you can’t find online. If you’re new to scraping or don’t understand the concept very well, get this.

This was a great book. I needed to do a quick project fast. I was able to skim the book and get started. I plan to go back and read all chapters

Not bad. Sometimes a bit too confusing for beginners.

For me this is the best book on Web Scraping using Python.Very well explained. Goes into details and yet forces you to think and focus on the subject. Perhaps the code is not always "clean" as it could be, but in most cases it doesn't really matter. The examples are excellent.

Als ich das Buch aufschlug, dachte ich, ich habe die falsche Brille auf, so gross war die Schrift. Mit normalem Schriftbild wären es m.E. 30% weniger Seitenumfang gewesen, mindestens.Ein kurzer Text mit knackiger Info? Von mir aus, aber leider war auch das nichts. Es gab ein paar interessante , nun ja, Essays nennen. Für die dann 2 Punkte. Der Rest war angerissen oder im "Neuland" schneller und besser auffindbar.Am Ende also viel zuviel Geld für zu wenig Info. Habs zurückgeschickt. Danke amazon!

Very important : The last chapter has a lot of practical examples. One of the better books on scraping. Keep up the good work.
