Good for a little older child...
This is a good story to that may peak a child's interest in math; however, most of the concepts are geared to a little older child, so rather than Grades K-4, as recommended by Amazon, I feel it's better suited for Grades 2 or 3+.

Cleverly written; wished I had been read this as a child
Really enjoyed it. Clever rendering of Alice in Wonderland, well written. It may not really teach that much math but it is an exposure to it and for children who never liked math or were particularly interested in it, it intertwines it nicely in the context of literature. Excellent artwork as well.

It's OK
The book is interesting with some good math problems, but it's not written very well... I enjoyed Sir Cumference more, in terms of a math story. I think if you don't already know the math, you don't get the jokes and lessons in this book. And if you need to know the math to get, then it's not really teaching you anything. What's the point?
