DERNORD Stainless Steel 304 Single Pin Heavy Duty Tri Clamp with Wing Nut for Ferrule TC 1.5'' (Pack of 1)

I have a crank patio umbrella with an elbow to adjust the angle and unfortunately the elbow mechanism broke, leaving my umbrella unable to stand up straight. We were initially using a hose clamp on it, but it was such a pain to pull out a ratchet to tighten or loosen. Paired with a simple strip of metal, this has been such a great alternative! Simple to tighten/loosen, looks much better, and so far has held the umbrella in an upright position for about a month straight and going strong! No issues with getting wet either.

Feels just as solid as any tri-clamp I've used over the years. I have not used this with pressure, so I cannot attest to that, but for general brewing duties, these are perfectly fine and economical. Tighten and loosen without issue, and seal well.

Hold up well seals properly.

My only issue and ig I had realized it before I would not have purchased them. They do not come with gaskets like others that I have purchased. Buying gaskets that will arrive in time will cost me almost twice what these clamps did and if I had just purchased a set with the gaskets it would have cost about two dollars more.Look elsewhere for a set with gaskets

I needed a couple more 1.5" tri-clamps for my conical fermenters. I received the clamps and they look well made, however, I wouldn't go as far to call the "Heavy Duty". These clamps are by far lighter "gauge" than previous models I've purchased at a much higher price. So in short, these clamps work just fine for the value, not sure if I'd be totally comfortable with these clamps if I were using them in a professional/heavily used production environment. (left clamp & top clamp are Dernord's vs. "heavy-duty)

These clamps are right for the price. Easy to use, they don’t rust in sanitizer over night and they come with a 1-1/2 gasket. I’m using them all over the brewery. Brewhouse, manifold and CIP.Cheers

The other review about them being cheap is correct. The wingnut part is too small and not friendly to rotate. The threads are also not very smooth. The threaded part is also too short and the stupid handles fall off ALL THE TIME. I didn't think one tri-clamp would be any different from another but I regret purchasing these. Every time I grab one of these out of the pile I die a little bit inside. I would recommend spending a few more dollars on something else.

These clamps are a huge help in my homebrewing. The only thing to note though is that this size does not fit a keg but rather are designed for smaller fermenter ports.
