Love the look! **see full review for tips on install
I wasn't sure how I would feel about these brackets. Originally I wanted floating shelves but my husband didn't like that look so this was our compromise. They are subtle but add the perfect amount of detail and offer an updated version of a floating shelf look! They seem sturdy so far, will update if there are any issues. You will want different hardware, they came with black screws for gold shelves. They also came with anchors which I do not feel like would off much support. We did 5 ft. Solid red oak shelves which are very heavy and used 4 brackets per shelf. Because of the weight, we needed the brackets to drill into studs. The guy who helped us hang them discovered that if we drilled the screws in at slight angles, then all for screws could go into the studs which offered maximum support and strength. See picture. Overall, with a few adjustments, I definitely recommend!

Excellent brackets if you want a deep shelf with a minimalist appearance.
I couldn't find any brackets at any home improvement store that could support a 16" deep shelf. What I could find were large and triangle shaped with interfered with my purpose for this particular area (a small work from home office I made in a walk-in closet). These brackets are very sturdy and provide the look and purpose I needed. One caveat: Buy better dry-wall mounts. The ones provided with the shelf are not sturdy enough in my opinion. And while trying to install them, the screw actually pushed them back into the wall. And I have installed many a dry wall mount in my lifetime and I do it correctly. Get the ones that you tap into the wall then screw them in rest of the way. They support up to 40lbs each and for a large and heavy shelf like this, you'll need it.

Good for the price
First let's talk about the hardware, junk. I couldn't use it, they had to include sheetrock anchor, so that was another $15 at the hardware store. Installation was very very easy, they look amazing but also I'm concerned about those weak weld point, I used in a pantry so is not gonna hold much Wait, but wouldn't trust anything heavy. Definitely not heavy duty, overall 3.5 Stars.

Very solid - Great product
Very solid - Great product. For a floating style shelf (brackets are still visible) these are incredibly solid. I definitely recommend them

Anchor issues and not straight
Heavy duty???? Not really. First of all, the hqndles holding thr shelf wasnt straight. I put a 16 inch particle board shelf on it (just a regular shelf) and the shaft holding the shelf bent. So my leveling wouldnt work. Also, the plastic anchors which you put the screws in has no edge to hold it on the dry wall. So when you screw in (with sone pressure obviously) it goes in in a hollow space behind the drywall (you use anchors cause you have a hollow dry wall behind it and no studs). I had to buy proper anchors for it.They look ok though. But there is no use if you cant have a levelled shelf on it.

Works well.
These brackets look as pictured and come with all the hardware needed to install them. Someone posted a picture of theirs breaking at the weld, which I admit could be better, so I tested one of mine. I screwed it to a stud and hung weights on it. It held 100 lbs for over an hour with some deflection, which returned to normal after removing the weight. The weld failed at 130 lbs. I definitely wouldn't put more than 100 lbs on a pair of brackets, but they a sturdy for what they are.

Very Sturdy and Versatile Brackets
We purchased a Large piece of wood to hang up in our master bath. It has tongue in groove on the ends so we needed a bracket that didn't have an up lip in the front. This bracket was perfect! The base has four holes that allow you to firmly fix it to drywall. Though, you will most likely be putting a decent amount of weight on the shelf that rests on these brackets, I'd spring for better drywall anchors, as the anchors the brackets came with, are somewhat lightweight. That being said, the brackets are great looking and I love the fact that you can insert another screw from the bottom of the bracket into the wood to keep it still. I'd strongly recommend these brackets!
