This is not like most door locks that have 2 screws that hold it to the door. This one has 3 screws that go through door plus you have to cut a hole to pass wire through. If i would have known this i would not have purchased. The programing instructions you have to read very closely as they have made them a little more complicated than it needs to be..

The instructions are good and easy to follow. The product is high quality. The tight design gives a strong impression of quality. The door seems secure with this handle lock.I had one minor parts issue for which I contacted customer service and got almost immediate response. I received the missing part quickly. And now I have received a follow-up email a couple of months later to check on the installation and my satisfaction. I had not confirmed I got it and finished the installation. Very nice and appreciated. Thank you!!

We purchased this cypher lock 7 DAYS AGO from Amazon: the Colosus - model NDL319; specifically because it had "failsafe" options of keys, remotes, and FOBs incase the keypad didn't work. There is some defect in design because the internal latch mechanism that "pulls" the latch when you operate the handle(s) is broken. It doesn't matter if we use a key, the remote, a user code, or a key FOB - no action allows you to unlock the door no matter the direction you move the handle (down or up) - we are simply locked out and now paying a locksmith to come drill out the lock so we can access the room. There's only one way into the room, and unfortunately this Colosus cypher lock is it. Tech support phone number rings "busy" 100% of the time. Texting it does not yield a response. There is no support website we can find, and the tech support is a Gmail account. This cheap lock all of a sudden is getting expensive for us.

Absolutely great to have a decent product come with the extra accessories (key fo s, keys, remote) at a reasonable price. Have three of them at work now.

Once we were able to install the new locks in our new building, there were several that were bad and didn't work. It is past the return date so we are stuck with several bad door locks.
