How many ounces would I need to do a whold couch?

I used one and one half quarts to do two coats on a full size leather recliner. I'd look online or call Tandy Leather but if not, I'd estimate 3 quarts for a 'love seat' and maybe 4 quarts for a full size six-foot couch. The biggest variable is the porosity and general condition of the leather. After deglazing, if the leather was maintained and hasn't been dried out from neglect, you might end up using just 1/2 or 2/3 of the amount I'm suggesting.

How many oz do I need for a medium/ large handbag?

The smallest container will do more than one english saddle. Very easy process and works super well. Did not come off on my breeches after dying. Great product.

Everyone talk about Leather how about Vinyl will work on Vinyl

I have used this dye on vinyl with excellent results. You HAVE to use the cleaner they sell as well. Also, depending on what the project is, using resolene after to seal and protect is highly recommended, especially on vinyl. Ive also used this dye on white “man made” dress shoes to transform them to black. Took two coats, but its yet to come off with weekly wear and over two years ago.

Can this be stored in a garage in Texas in the summertime?

Stores well in my garage in Arkansas summer. Depending on how much you have left in the bottle. A smaller amount left in the bottle would most likely dry out if left unused for a period of time.

Good for even newbies

I have no clue what I’m doing and slapped it on a leather scrap. It looked great. I tried a piece that had a coating and it did dye it but pooled in areas and wasn’t consistent.
