Zocalo Peru Organic Aji Amarillo Chili Paste, 8 Ounce

I found this when I was learning how to make Lomo Saltado and we love it. It's not as hot as I was expecting, but has a really wonderful taste. Highly recommend

We had this spice in Peru & loved it. Found this online & bought it. It’s exactly what I remember from Peru. We add it to Alfredo sauce, season taco meat with it & add it to sour cream or ranch dressing to make sauces with it. It’s pretty versatile & we love it

I do not recommend this product. It has been water down. It’s not a paste. It’s watery product that has lost the real taste of ají amarillo. I am from Peru. Where the product comes from. I know how is supposed to taste.

The flavor and consistency is excellent, although it is very expensive for the smaller jar.

Needed for a dinner party and it did not disappoint! A little kick to it and so tasty.

Wonderful flavor that can be used in many dishes. I love it with chicken and with beans!

I used this to make a Peruvian Aguadito de Pollo soup and it was absolutely fantastic in it. I’m excited to try other recipes that use it.

We like the taste, it has fruity slightly sweet taste without being overly sweet, no sugar added. I really like it on tacos.
