Egyptian Arabic: Easy Stories With English Translations: 1 Paperback – 22 Mar. 2019

I very much like the size of the print and the sharp contrast between black print and the white page. I happen to have poor eye sight, but reading Arabic script is often challenging because it is printed in a rather small size, especially for beginners struggling to distinguish between unfamiliar letters. The stories are interesting, whilst serving a useful purpose in developing one's skills in reading Arabic, practising and improving vocabulary and a fairly natural way of imbibing grammar. There is a vocabulary list English/Arabic following the story together with some straightforward exercises. There are also lined pages between the stories where one can make notes. The stories become harder as you progress through the book. There is audio available to listen to on the linked website. All very straightforward and easy to use. Very helpful and it's a joy to have spoken Egyptian Arabic available in an easy to use book such as this.

It’s easy to read and understand for both all learners. I do recommend having a little understanding of MSA before reading this book — All in all, a it’s a recommended book for learning the basics of the Egyptian dialect.

This book does exactly what it says on the cover and I found it to be very easy to follow along with the text and I learning so much in just a short time. The stories are enjoyable to read and keep you engaged. The lessons get progressively harder as you go along. The audio is of High quality and easy to follow for a beginner. I have many Arabic books but this is the best one by far.To get the audio for this book you will have to sign up to Talk in Arabic , then email them and tell them you have purchased the book. Once you have done that they will add the audio to your account. You can follow along to the book on line or download the audio. It might take them a few days to get back to you. The audio quality is excellent and it is at a pace that a beginner can follow along easily.

This book is a great addition to other Egyptian listening / reading books that I own. The beginner stories are aimed at high beginners so I did find myself referring to the vocab section and other resources from time to time for words that I did not know but then that is the point of vocabulary building.The font used is large and clear which helps a great deal and the accompanying audio is spoken very clearly and is a pleasure to listen to.The stories include dialog between the characters which is a great help and a great tool.I am currently working my way through the second story as I myself am a beginner but I am looking forward to reading each one and I am interested in the use of the high frequency terms with which these stories have been written.Overall I think this book is a great addition to the ones I currently own and I think it will be a great tool for me to use in order to progress with my learning.

It's a great tool to help you learn Arabic! However, I would prefer to have had the English translation on the opposite page to the page and not at the end of the book.

Bought this purchase following reviews and contacted them in their website to receive the audio. Very good book when used with this to improve spoken Arabic dialect!

Amazing book!! Have learnt so much already and the the stories are a perfect level for intermediate students who are comfortable reading the script etc and of course the translations are there for reference aswell. I highly recommend to any trying to expand the knowledge of this dialect of the Arabic language! :)
