Stanley 33-735 Fatmax Tape Rule with Bladearmorâ„¢ Coating 1-1/4" x 35', 2.2" x 7.1" x 4.6"

Ive always used off brand or big box store branded tape measures, but always had to replace them after a year or two for one reason or another. But this is the most rugged and well built tape I've ever used. It has an easy 12 ft stand out, but haven't needed to push it beyond that yet, but have had 0 issues. its easy to read and the 35ft makes it great for literally anything around the house or job site. If you're looking for a premium tape measure, this is it. With being a 35ft tape it does have a bit more weight and bulk to it, but for the trade off of not having to mark every 16-20 ft and then take a second measurement its definitely worth it.

Great price for the tape

We use it for home improvement projects and general measurements. I am over age 50 and a patent lawyer in the electronics field and thus my eyesight is shot. I can read this tape from a dozen feet away despite being severely myopic. My only concern is durability. The housing is plastic, and the three or four screws holding the unit together are metal. Over time it's inevitable that one or more screws will de-thread and this tape measure will separate into two halves or otherwise fail to function. This is the only concern I detect. The housing, or shell, is plastic, presumably to keep weight down. This is a heavy tape measure and I wouldn't want to carry it around all day for my job or similar. However the unit is very well constructed, the markings are accurate on my piece, and it's robust. It's made of "global materials" but assembled in the U.S. All around good buy for the pricepoint. Thank you, Stanley, your product is a good value and easy to use.

It’s a fat max. So it’s strong, and doesn’t like to break when you extend it out.

Overall this tape measure is good. My only complaints are that there are: One, there are no centimeter readings (inches repeat twice on one side and blank on the back). Two, the lock and roll up mechanism feel a bit clunky and aren’t as smooth as smaller tape measures that I have. I feel like quality has been compromised at the expense of length and cost. It’s still a good, solid tape measure. But next time I might pay a bit more just to have a little better quality and a cm option.

It's smooth, accurate, very sturdy, and just works great. Doesn't snap back too quick, doesn't buckle at distance as easily as other brands.

The accuracy of this is dead on tough enough to hold up to any job site. If you can’t read it then you’re blind or need glasses lol, it’s long enough for almost any job task.

I've tried other brands both Wide and narrow. Nothing beats a Fat Max tape measure! I can extend it over 14 feet without the help of another person. It works so smoothly I live it. Soft rubber on the outside keeps it from shipping out of my hands. The bright yellow helps me to spot it when I forget where I put it down. I absolutely love this tape measure over all others! I would give it more stars if they had more than 5!

Well, it says fatmax on it, 35” is perfect for the job im doing right now, problem is, doesn’t feel like an authentic fatmax, it also isn’t blade armor as many others have said

Tape works exactly as a Stanly fatmax should, unfortunately all our local hardware stores couldn't get them in so I had to purchase here, and they were so expensive I did not want to use them.
