Held Up Amazingly to 12g Recoil
I bought this reflex sight after watching a review of a guy shooting various budget reflex sights on his 12g shotgun.I was expecting this thing to break or have trouble staying accurate after a few rounds of slugs. I've had a couple attachments like lasers break almost instantly from the recoil. This thing held up amazingly. First off, I barrel sighted it at home before going to the range. Apparently I did a great job because it was dead accurate at 25yrds hitting bullseyes with ease.Secondly, it handled the recoil like a champ. I shot at least 35 3" HV slugs and 25 2-3/4" 00buck and the sight barely flinched.I'm extremely happy with it. The only negative thing I can say about it is the flip up caps are a bit too easy to open (literally 1/2 lb of force is enough to tap it open) and the caps eventually slide off the sight after a ton of rounds and recoil. But that's not a big deal, you can easily take them off when shooting and slide them back on when done.My friend is buying one or two of these for his 5.56 AR and his .22 plinker. Honestly an amazing budget sight, if it can hold up after a ton of 12g rounds, it'll hold up to just about anything.

Survives punishment from Mosin Nagant 91/30! WOW!
So far this little sight has held up to my Mosin Nagant 91/30 quite well and that says allot for how much the Mosin kicks! It has held zero for weeks of taking it out to the range. I can not express how pleased I am with the quality of this sight. The price is spot on and the quality is excellent. I am using the UTG tri-rail mount for the Mosin Nagant. The tri-rail system is also a great product and part of this sights excellent performance of holding zero after so many rounds down range. If you need a reliable and affordable red dot sight setup on your Mosin, this sight and UTG tri-rail system are a great option to consider.

Great sight
Best shotgun or limited range rifle sighting system ever. I live in NJ so it's shotgun only. I also am on a farmer's depredation permit so I need to be proficient at what I do. I've been through a whole lot of scopes which initially sight in but I shoot a lot. And when I shoot, I expect to put down everything 0 - 125 yds. Scopes always only last a year or so then get shook lose (inside). I sighted this in with 10 rounds of Kent 3" 10 pt slugs. 435 grns @ 1850 fps. 1" high at 25, 1" high at 100 and 2" low at 125 yrd. This sight is what I've been looking for. I'm even going to try one on my 1895 Marlin. 45-70 with 300 gn bullet at 2400 fps. Another scope wrecker. I'll post another review if this red dot holds up to the punishment or not. Updat; So far so good. Took down 3 deer this week. If you can see it and within range just put dot on it and it's down. Reviewers have mentioned a halo effect. This only happens if you make dot brighter than it needs to be. Low light, first one or two clicks. That's as bright as I need in the woods and it's a pin point.

A good, inexpensive dot sight.
I mounted the TruGlo Red/Green dot sight on my Ruger 10/22 with synthetic stock. The mounting was very easy using the weaver rail included with the firearm and the weaver base attached to the sight. It attaches with 2 thumb screws and holds securely.Turning on the sight, the dot is a clear even at low power settings. At higher settings there is some distortion in that the dot is no longer a clear point, but glares a bit and gets somewhat oblong. At an indoor range with decent lighting, I only needed the sight set at power level 2 (out of 5).There is one dial for both turning the unit on or off, setting the color, and the dot's brightness. It clicks into positions cleanly and distinctly, and works well. Windage and elevation are adjusted with a flat head screwdriver, or a dime in the adjustment slots, and the adjustment slots have protective covers to make sure you do not inadvertently change your zero. The sight has 2 installed clear lens covers. You could easily use the sight with the flip covers down as long as pinpoint accuracy was not an issue; such as using the sight on a home defensive gun and having to grab and shoot quickly. They do distort the dot a little, but not enough to make you miss an 8" plate in home distances.Zeroing was very easy. The windage (side-to-side) setting was spot on from the factory. I had to adjust the elvation a little, but I had the sight zeroed in less than 20 shots using 5 shot groups. This sight is not paralax free. You have to make sure you are looking through the columnar center of the sight to have it be exact. Just make sure the dot is as close to the center of the view tube as possible, and practice bringing the sight up to the same position when you fire each time. If you're consistent, it will be too. If you move your head while holding the gun still, the dot will move in your view (That's what's meant by paralax.)This is a well built sight, that works very well on smaller caliber guns. I'm not sure how it would handle the kick of an AK or an AR, but on a .22 or similar pistol caliber carbine it is fantastic. There are better, more durable, and paralax free sights out there, but you'll pay a lot more for them. I'd be hard pressed to find a better sight for the price.

A lot of bang for the buck!
Bought the 3-dot 4/2023. It grew a fog on the inside. Hopefully they take it back and either repair or replace it. I’ve had 3 now on crossbows and only one failed. Hard to beat the price, crystal clear view, and brightness settings. Simple and effective.
