8 Clear Food Storage Containers Set, Microwave and Freezer Safe, Little Big Box

We received our order and were instantly amazed at the small amount of space these containers take when nesting together. My first thought was, "Oh, no! They only sent four containers instead of eight!" I was wrong, though, as these nest together well and take up only about half the space I expected, which is an important consideration because of the limited space we have on the boat we live aboard.The lids are secure and provide a great seal. The materials used to make these boxes appear to be durable, but we won't know until we've used them for awhile.I'm a little concerned that the rubber grommet used to seal the lid may be hard to keep clean and mold-free, but that is based on other products we've had with similar seals, not these little gems.The price is right and from all appearances so far, the Popit Little Big Box containers we bought are fabulous.

I bought these for my parents when I was living with them, I got tired of always searching for a matching lid and container in their drawer of mix-matched lids.Ever since I bought these my parents have been completely satisfied with them. I ordered to sets and it is more then enough containers for a few days of leftovers.The containers and lids are easily stack-able and are pretty rugged and sturdy. The lids can be a little tricky at times to pop close, but you have to make sure they are lined up properly so you don't break off the clips. We have yet to break any and they are all in great shape.The fact that they are dishwasher safe has saved my mother a lot of time from hand washing them. The removable silicone seal makes it ease to get into the groves and give it a good cleaning after some of those saucy dishes.Also, they sizes of these containers can be pretty deceiving and they hold a lot more food then I thought.All in all this is a pretty amazing set of storage containers for your leftover food. I will defiantly order a few sets of these for myself once I move out.

This review is for the Popit 8 piece food storage container set. I don't know if I just missed the 6 piece set when I was searching the available products, but if I had seen it I might have bought the 6 piece set first because the containers are quite a bit larger. Since the containers in the 8 piece set aren't significantly smaller than the glass container set I've been using for some time I probably won't buy the 6 piece set as well but it's good to know it's available too.I love the snap lock lids on this set! They are much much easier to use than the lids on Rubbermaid and other containers, especially for someone like me who has weakening hands from age and disease. I would have kept using the glass containers with snap lock lids because I like glass the best but they are too heavy now and since I tend to drop things a lot these days they can break very easily on my tiled kitchen floor. So plastic it is. These are definitely very good quality BPA free plastic.There are inner seals on the lids that need to be removed and washed periodically. Again, it takes very little strength to take them off and put them back on, although it can be fiddly to do. The seals do make the containers truly air tight. I wash them once a week because I use the containers all the time. Salads are a big part of the food I eat in a day. I use the containers for prepped vegies, as well as other things, so I don't have to start every salad from scratch.I'm happy to recommend the Popit storage containers as a quality product which does the job well. In addition they are great for someone like me who has weak hands.

I have a small rectangular container that I purchased in Egypt six years ago; it's a "Lock & Lock" but it's the same exact kind of container. I use it for my face cleanser wipes. Three years ago the cleanser company changed the shape of the wipes from rectangles to squares, and I've been searching ever since for a similar container, only to be stymied by the fact that I live in the US where options for plastic storage containers are limited to Tupperware or Rubbermaid. Imagine my surprise and delight to find that these were available, and at a fantastic price. They came in today, and the wipes fit perfectly in the one I chose, and now I also have seven other containers of various sizes to hold my stuff, with lids that I know are sturdy. After all, the one I have has been opened and closed every day for six years and it still holds strong and airtight! Given that the design is exactly the same, only the name is different, I would guess that they are made by the same plant that made the Lock & Lock containers.

First off, let me just say that I like these containers. I really like the fact that they are versatile and can go in the freezer, microwave and dishwasher - a one stop pop.When I first received them, I was impressed at how compact the package was because each container fits in the container slightly larger than it so the total dimension of the boxes is just the volume of the two largest containers pictured. This is great for storing or transporting these containers when they're empty.However, I found that for regular use, it's not convenient to keep the containers stored like a babushka doll so the oddly sized containers and lids don't end up stacking or storing in a convenient way. I admit that this is a pretty minor complaint, but it would be a nice if the containers could store more easily for daily use... Other than that, they've been great so far.

This is the second set I’ve ordered! If you’re looking for Tupperware that completely seals for camping or a cooler, look no further! We kayak in the summer out on the lake for sometimes up to 12 hours with a cooler and ice. As the ice melts all other products I’ve tried don’t seal fully. Therefore water getting in the food and ruining it. These fully seal and are a game changer!
