Great ironing board pad.
This is a top quality, ironing board pad. Fit right on, and my ironing board cover fit perfectly over it.

Happy Mother’s Day to myself!
I’ve never liked my ironing board cover and pad (foam, really? not much of a pad…) and my latest cover had elastic in the casing that kept needing to be pulled tight hence the cover repeatedly falling off, scooting around while ironing, you know what I mean. Then it occurred to me the other day to search with the word ‘professional’ added to ironing board pad and cover since I was done with my current ones. Ritz has come to my rescue!!! I cannot say enough about how completely wonderful this set it: truly THICK and sturdy separate pad, beautiful HEAVY cotton cover with cording in casing to tighten, extra elastic with alligator clip to attach underneath for extra stabilization. Definitely worth the money! This set checks all the boxes for me : ) Oh, and I also got myself an orchid!

Domestic Viking
I'm self-sufficient and won't ever pay someone for what I'm capable of. I like to iron and do things around the house and maintain the place I call home. The only thing is the overly fresh smell from heavy fabric fresheners/softeners in the factory - it marks very clearly on the package - DO NOT MACHINE WASH so I will just have to wait for the smell to dissipate. It's sturdy, lays flat very well and absorbs a lot of moisture from the steam to prevent my board from dripping excess water which used to make ironing take twice as long.Ironing tip for men's dress shirts - I've always used this order to make things go faster:1. Start with sleeves, lay flat, crease top & bottom of arm (keep sleeves unbottoned, iron around cuff while flat to get rid of creases) Creased cuffs are not flattering.2. Shoulder (use the end of the ironing board to iron shoulders - some will have depth while others are very small)3. Flip shirt over as a whole, move to the back of the garment, working from left to right. Shirts that have excess material (creased "slats" on left and right side under the shoulder line are a sign of excess material and those kinds of shirts should only be worn by men with larger frames) should be tailored as these are difficult to iron.4. Flip shirt again, pull the top of the button side over the bottom of ironing board to get the neck area, then move the shirt parallel with the board to iron the button side of the garment.5. Same as Step #4 but you are moving to the yoke side (the side that receives the buttons).6. Finally the collar - if there is excess material, start by ironing the back of the collar first so any creases are hidden. I'm always sure to give a good blast of steam to the points of the collar.Note: I ONLY starch the sleeves, yoke and collar of a shirt - starching the entire garment will defeat the purpose of ironing at all as it will wrinkle with the smallest amount of contact.

Good fit
The pattern of my ironing board shows through the cover.

Love this!
How can you love an ironing board cover?I was using a pretty cheap ironing board and the cover was terrible. The fabric was super thin, it didn't fit right, the metal clasp would cause pulls in my clothes, and the super thin padding underneath didn't stop the texture of the board from ironing onto my laundry. I was constantly trying to adjust the pad and the cover and make sure the metal clasp was tucked up under the board. I mean, ironing isn't exactly known as a super fun way to spend your evening, but talk about a pain. I avoided ironing like the plague. After snagging another pair of pants on my crappy iron I decided something had to change... so I went to Amazon searching out a new ironing board. The first thing I clicked on was a cover... I didn't know you could just buy a cover... I'm starting to feel like a real domestic diva over here.... So I started looking into this and came across this set. It is a life changer.OK, it isn't really a life changer, but it makes me not hate ironing (as much). The pad itself is textured, which immediately concerned me. I want my clothes flat... not bumpy. However it is nice and thick and soft and it was already at my house. Worth a shot. The cover is plain and boring, but the fabric is fairly thick and it is significantly better than what I had. Also it was already at my house. So after putting the pad and cover on my ironing board I decided to take this baby for a spin. It wasn't terrible. In fact it was kinda nice. My clothes didn't develop any weird texture from the pad, I didn't have to worry about snagging anything, and it seemed like ironing in general was easier. If you are looking for an ironing board cover... this is a great one. The pad alone is worth the cost... and you can get that separately if you really have to have a pretty ironing board cover.

Oh, So Happy
This works great for my antique ironing board. No more crease lines from the wooden board top.

Serviceable, just not great
This ironing board cover is better than most of the ones that I have tried. The cover still does not come all they way down and around my ironing board. That makes it so that the drawcord does not snug up nicely around the entire board. So far the cover will stay on, but I can see that it will start to slide off of the end eventually like all of the other covers. The best part is that the liner is really heavy duty and thick. The thin, silver cover feels like mediocre quality. The sewing around the cover to keep the drawcord on is adequate. All-in all, it is very serviceable, just not great. I would not expect it to hold up to heavy use. I would recommend it over the other covers that I have had or if you have a smaller board. I do not do a lot of ironing, so I expect that this will hold up for what I need. I would really like to give this 3 1/2 stars just because I am tried of being disappointed every few years by a silly board cover. It just cannot be that hard to make a good cover.

Ironing Made Easier
I've always used a soft foam ironing board pad but felt like I was ironing on the metal ironing board. I decided to try something new and I'm so glad I did! The Ritz pad slipped on easily with cups at the head and heel to hold it in place. The pad is so thick that now it's like I'm ironing on a cloud!

Muy bonito pero sin forma de ajustarlo
No se puede ajustar. El tejido y textura son excelentes pero no hay manera de adaptarlo a la forma del burro.

Not as advertised.
The implication in the posting is that it is a heavy pad, whereas it's very thin. In the installation instructions there are two components pictured that are not in the package. I am disappointed and will return this.

Molleton planche à repasser
J’adore cette housse molleton pour planche à repasser. Elle est d’une bonne épaisseur et de meilleure qualité comparativement à celles que l’on retrouve dans certains grands magasins.

Fits perfectly.
I should have purchased two for the additional padding.

Must read - nice replacement of old ironing board cover
This is a very nice replacement of old ironing board cover. I have a old but still working ironing board and the cover of the board has been damaged due the high temperature. I bought this replacement and it is thick and comfortable to use and oddless as well. I recommend it for using it on the old ironing board.
