Very Fun & Would Reccomend!!
Great scooter! Love riding this around the neighborhood, its like having your own personal 'bird' scooter like the ones you can rent near the beach and in the cities! I keep mine in the car so whenever there's a long walk I can just bust the scooter out :)

Product & Customer Service Unsatisfactory
This scooter malfunctioned in less than 24 hours. It wouldn't move when the hand throttle was depressed. It couldn't be turned off or shut down. It took almost 24 hours for the battery to run out. Being hopeful tried to see if after a charge and powering up again it might reset and work. No such luck! Finding customer service contact information was a nightmare, which resulted in them being slow to respond and condescending. Had the customer service been even civil I wouldn't have left a review. Sometimes good companies have items that for whatever reason don't work as expected and they try to make it work. My primary complaint is after buying a defective product this company took a cavalier attitude instead of trying to help resolve the issue.

Surprisingly good quality for the price.
Thinks of this as an "e-assist" scooter, in that you will still need to kick a bit, and it won't go up urban hills. It will however get you around flat areas at a running speed and it is easy to get on public transit with it or stow it under a coffee table.Pros:- Lighter than most e-scooters (~20 lbs)- Folds in two places (base and handlebars) making it more compact when folded- Will fit flat on a narrow shelf when folded (wheel turns to allow handlebars to turn flat)- Cheap in comparison with other e-scooters- You can buy cheap 3rd party chargers to charge at home/work/etcCons:- Very underpowered. Will not go up steep hills, and goes slow up moderate inclines.- Secondary e-brake is too touchy and you have to be very careful pressing it or you go over the handlebars (I use the foot brake mostly)- No display on handlebars- On/off button on foot platform is awkward and dirty to press (should be on handlebars)- Battery readout it on base instead of handlebars- Would benefit from a normal (e.g. bike) hand brake mechanism instead of the 'throttle' type control- Hand grips continue to come loose (may have to apply some superglue)- Range is about 5 miles which is not that great

good for short trips
It's solidly built and good for short trips to the grocery store. It's also so small that you can ride it on the sidewalk and people think it's a kick scooter. In actuality, I would not ride it on the streets since it doesn't quite have enough power. The battery goes from 3 bars to zero without warning, but the customer service at Mega Wheels have been great. They are sending me a replacement scooter.

Not quite for adults
At 170 pounds, you’ll average a speed of 5-6 MPH on flat surfaces. The battery life will go down two notches (out of 5) at about 3.5 miles which is pretty good for the price. It is light weight and I’m not sure the back light worked. This unit is comparable to the Razor E200 but is much quieter.

Best electric scooter on the market!
I purchased this scooter for my daughter after witnessing her struggle with a regular push scooter going up the hill in our neighborhood. She would always be the last one up the hill as some of the other kids in the neighborhood either had electric scooters or were bigger and faster than her. So we made the plunge and bought this one. We have not yet been disappointed. The packaging was great and it was nicely packaged where it would ensure no issues or damage would happen with the scooter. The assembly was super intuitive and easy. I didn’t even need any special additional tools to put this together. The other positive is that it can’t charged! I love the fact that it also has a battery indicator to let me know where the level is. An absolute must because we could gauge how far we could go before having to turn back around and go home for a smooth ride. My daughter is only 42” tall and she was able to still reach the handles fine, controlling the gas and break pedals perfectly. I’m 5’2 and was able to use it fine as well. To be honest, my daughter did way better than I did in the scooter. I was a bit scared because when I first went on I pressed the gas lever too much and it went fast. My daughter didn’t have the same issue. We both love this scooter and have used it daily since we’ve purchased it. So far the battery holds its charge very well and we have only needed to charge it once. We make sure we both wear our helmets so please when using this, since it’s unpredictable with the speed, based on how much pressure you put on the lever, wear protective gear. I’m considering buying a second one for myself so that we could ride side by side! I love this scooter so far!

Amazing value, amazing product for a discount scooter!
I highly, highly recommend this product. It's changed my life and it's only been a few days since I received it! I live about half an hour from the closest rail station and work from home, so when I lost my license this year my social life basically disappeared. This little scooter makes it to the train in 8 minutes flat and is light enough to easily fold up and carry. It's really amazing value for the price, and is as sturdy as a $200 scooter can be. I'm only 117 pounds so if you're heavier it might be a different story but both the speed and charge time are phenomenal. I've been out more since I got it than in the three months prior, can't say enough good about this item. Highly recommend.
