Tighten sub screws slowly.
Great box sounds great seems like it's not real wood , be careful how you tighten your sub in, very easy to strip the screws.

False advertisement. NOT 3/4" MDF. DON'T BUY IF YOU CARE ABOUT THIS FEATURE
I should've known better, but it was all wrong from the moment I picked up the light box from my porch. Way too light to be 3/4 inch MDF. Opened the box and to no surprise the box was made out of 5/8" and didn't even have the same terminal as pictured. Was also missing the whole back portion of the port/vent. Put it right back in the box and returned for refund.

Trying to make sense of all the nonsense reviews? Here's what you need to know.... 3 star for the lie about 3/4" and the wire connector. It’s useless (not the one pictured) It is MDF but around 5/8" and solid for the price.

Very solid construction and not cheaply made. I would definitely buy this product again if I needed another 12-inch sub box!

The quality of wood is low and the thickness is not 3/4 inch however it does sound great with some wood glue reinforcement.
