Excellent taste, great price
I've tried pretty much every veggie protein out there--Orgain, PlantFusion, SunWarrior, Garden of Life Raw, Vega--and this one is probably my favorite. The chocolate tastes just as good as Orgain and PlantFusion, if not better. It's very sweet and full-flavored, and not at all chalky (like Garden of Life tends to be). And it gives you many of the benefits of a green product like Amazing Grass, but without the grassy aftertaste. In fact, I stopped adding Amazing Grass to my smoothies once I started using this product. It just seemed redundant, and now I can save a little money. On that note: this mix is probably the cheapest of all the ones I've sampled. By nature, these powders are pricey -- but this one is a relative bargain, and it's worth it for the density of nutrition that you get (it would be tough to pack the equivalent of all that produce into a blender and have it taste this good!) My one small quibble with this product is that my containers (I've gone through two already) both list 150 calories, but here (and even on certain calorie tracker websites like Livestrong) the official amount seems to be 130. Everything else about the container looks identical, so I'm not sure which one is right. I'm not concerned about the negligible calorie difference, just the impression that they might be a bit lax in reporting their nutritional information. This is much more of an issue if it affects ingredients, particularly for people with allergies (I'm currently breastfeeding a baby with multiple food allergies, so I have a new appreciate for this issue -- and have become a label-scrutinizer!).

Favorite Protein Powder
This is my favorite vegan chocolate protein powder! I like to mix it in coconut yogurt to increase the protein and top it with granola and fruit! It honestly tastes like a chocolate mousse! Highly recommend. I also like the vanilla for smoothies!

Delicious alternate option!
New to weight lifting and since I don't eat a lot of meat decided I needed a protein supplement. I am lactose-intolerant and also hate milk, so why not try some vegan powder? I ordered the chocolate. First shake I used some unsweetened vanilla almond milk and a bit of water and threw in a scoop and shook it in my blender bottle. I like mine to be creamy so I don't use all plain water. Admittedly, it does have a bit of a grainy aftertaste, but during it tastes just like chocolate milk! It is NOT overly sweet and is not super grainy during nor do I have to chew any chunks. Just shake it well! I would definitely recommend this product if you're not down with the whole process of non-vegan protein powders.

The taste is sickly sweet. The first bite is kind of gross
What initially attracted me to this protein powder is the complete amino acid profile. Although I don't know much about nutrition, when I looked up the amino acids required for a person and in what amounts, this product matched perfectly. It's hard to find a plant-based protein powder without some amino acid being low. I'm very impressed with this product in that arena. The taste is sickly sweet. The first bite is kind of gross, but after a couple of bites you get used to it. If they could make this less sweet, I'd give it 5 stars. I can't blend this with fruit in a smoothie - it is disgustingly sweet. I can only do unsweetened almond milk and ice with this, and still, it is very very sweet. The chocolate flavor is good though. The texture is pretty smooth for a vegan protein. All vegan proteins are a little gritty if you are not used to it. And it is not very creamy. I would recommend blending it with almond milk if you want it creamier. For me this veggie protein digests better than any others I've tried - like hemp and brown rice. I don't get as bloated with MRM. Maybe it is because of the probiotics and enzymes added. It comes in a big container, and it seems like it would last a while, until you look at the serving size scooper. It is huge! 15 servings per container. I'm surprised the nutrition label is so bare. I'm wondering why they don't post the vitamins and mineral content. It would be nice to know. So, overall, a pretty good product, at a pretty good price! It's worth trying.

Sensitive stomach approved
I’m impressed with this protein powder as a whole and I’ve tried many over the years. I feel energized and on days I miss my smoothie, I notice a huge difference. If you’re not a novice of protein powders, let me fill you in on the aftertaste, be prepared and this might not be for you. I switched to the chocolate flavor which helped a little bit but in my opinion, grassy after taste is well worth it when you look at the amazing ingredients included for your health. I mix my powder in a bullet with water, frozen bananas, frozen berries and a collagen powder and done. I enjoy it on the daily.

Weird piercing pain in the kidneys
I will start by saying that when I asked where this is manufactured. I could not get an answer. The manufacturer or distributor will not step up and respond. So I took a shot on it because of the reviews. Taste-wise, it is very much the same with most plant-based protein that contain peas and hemp. But this one has something extra not in the taste but with the feeling of the texture and how my body reacts to it. What I was experiencing is a piercing, prick-like sensation at where my kidneys are. At first when that happened I did not think of it much and I attributed it to perhaps a reaction to what I did in the gym that day. But when I stopped taking it, I did not have that feeling. So I went back to it after a few days, and sure enough that same day I took it, that pain came back again. It's like a piercing pinch pain at the lower back-waist sides. I again stopped taking it for a few days, and again went back to it to make a correlation. Not sure what it is but this stuff has to do with this pinching that I feel after taking it. Not knowing where it's coming from, just adds to my overall suspicion, this thing is not good for me; I don't care how good others think it is. Still have about 3/4 left in the box and it's going to the waste.
