Has worked great as a replacement strap for his Nike gym bag. So far it has held up great and is adjustable to the same length as the one that originally came with his bag. For reference, the original strap of the bag started to fray and the plastic that comes as the shoulder pad broke from over use and the amount of weight he carries in the bag. But this one has held up great ! Not a bad purchase for the price. Seems as comfortable as the original too. The black strap is nice, and the metal parts (which are like a dark gray metalic color) feel like they won't be able to carry the weight, but I'm pleasantly surprised with how they've held up and it's been almost a month of daily use.
