Great gift for x files fanatics
This was a gift for my girlfriend who watches the show on repeat. She loves it and even learned some new things about a show she's watched countless times

Astonishingly good resource for any X-Files fan
The art direction and attention to detail of this book are completely out of this world, and it expands on the story of the X-Files in both some old and new directions in ways I was not necessarily expecting. You can just peruse this book for nostalgia of the episodes...but it also rewards just reading it all the way through. Was sad to find that this volume doesn't contain every X-files...and happy to hear that with any luck, it'll be only the first volume.

A must have book for anyone calling themselves an X-Phile
I never write reviews but this book was so incredible that I just had to tell all the other x-philes out there that this book is a must have for any fan of the show. I loved it from start to finish. It was so fun going through all the old cases and reliving them. It was like a nice friend coming to visit and reminiscing with you about the good old days. I cannot wait for another volume. Fingers crossed. But really, totally worth the money. It was put together so beautifully it was like you really had the x file case in your hands.

This book is awesome if you're a geek of the show!
I bought this to put on my bookshelf that I have next to my desk at work, as I am trying to theme out my work area in a paranormal/horror theme, and I am constantly finding myself opening it up to read it.There's a lot here, and it's not simply a summary of episodes. What you're getting is a book set in universe of the show, as a collection of official reports written by Mulder & Scully, collected and preserved under the order of A.D. Skinner. This is essentially a archive of the shows eponymous files. What you're reading are end if case reports, along with some of the evidence documents that were collected in the cases. There's a lot of immersion here. This is a book strictly for huge X-Files fans wanting to get some fun in-universe reading done

Must-have for any fan!
Excellent archive of Monster of the Week stories. Most that not all episodes/stories are captured here (most notably the mythology stories, which will hopefully be coming in a future archive). The effort and attention to detail by the author is obvious; you can tell this was put together by a true fan of the series. I’m about 65 pages I’m writing this and thoroughly enjoying it.Regarding the comments other reviews have made about the cover, I think they are missing the fact that the cover is designed to resemble a file folder (i.e., cardboard) and so it makes perfect sense that the cover is designed the way it is. It is a thick and sturdy cardboard that seems just as strong as any traditional book cover. The only real difference is that the cover itself is not larger than the pages, so it’s similar to a soft-cover book in that regard.

Love this!
This is a book I would read over and over again. It’s filled with interesting facts on the x-files cases. Only downside is that some of it is redacted and it has some of the words covered over so you can’t read them.
