Disturbing Satire
Political satire is the correct way of describing this. It was written very well and easily drew me in, wanting to know how it ends. The end left me stumped. The reality with which we have seen and experienced in life felt like this ending. What an imaginative way to present the seeming reality of life. This book left me with a lot of mixed feelings; mostly anger. The presentation of this satire is too real! Yes, it is definitely worthy of reading.

Highly recommend
My daughter is obsessed with these books lately. They are easy to read and usually have a movie to watch after so I'd recommend these.

This should be Required Reading
Another amazing novel by George Orwell. Depicts how the rich keep getting richer and the poor only get poorer in a stunning depiction of the rich keep the poor under their thumb through manipulation and fearmongering.

A Catchy Satire That Entertains Kids but Educates Adults
I have seen this kind of situation in my everyday life, not just in the 1917 context. One may start from democracy and end up in autocracy; another may begin with a fancy version of socialism but end up in a weird, dictatorial setup. So, leaders need to be nationalists — but more importantly, citizens need to be careful! The animals' dream of a just society (modeled on socialism or communism) is gradually twisted into a dictatorship. We, as leaders, seduce the public by promising equal justice and patriotism, but it often ends in strange forms of inequality that are visible even to a newborn. That's why we love to lead uneducated people who lack critical thinking — they’re easy to mislead, and when deceived, they don’t act.
