Better then I expected
I found this DVD lying around from my pro-wrestling fascination. I have to say I was actually if not impressed entertained. It still had its faults, but I have to say I did actually think TNA put on an entertaining show. The faults were things like the continuous adverts of TNA around Maryland. I really did not care about these; it is like having a commercial between every match to fill in the time. I thought this was completely unnecessary because the wrestlers themselves put on great matches and even pulled off good promos for the King of the mountain match. Also by the time the DVD comes out all these event would have passed anyway. The first match was for the X-division title. These guys are the life blood of TNA, great performance between Kaz and Petey Williams. All the high spots were linked with great chain wrestling. The match flowed from one move to the next. They really worked well together. The Knockouts. I am not rally a fan of women's pro-wrestling, I don't mind women's MMA, but the pro-wrestling women's division seems like an excuse of pose around wearing as little as possible for the age rating. Having said that these ladies Gail Kim, Roxxy, ODB, Moose and even the Beautiful People (after their initial intro posing) actually wrestled. They put in a solid performance, not the best match, but by no means the farce it usually is. Well done ladies. The Amazing Kong squash I mean challenge. In this the women's champion Amazing Kong, destroys "chalengers" from the crowed. Even these looked pretty real (in a pro-wrestling setting). Complete and utter destruction but when you see AK you can total see her going this to these women. I love her finisher the "Implant Buster" is probably the appropriate name for a women's finisher there is.LAX Vs Team 3D an ok match for the Tag Team titles. I think LAX are a great team combining the power of Hernandez and the speed and Homicide. Having said that Hernandez can move around the ring on par with most X-Division athletes and Homicide can brawl with the best of them. Team 3D were their usual selves. Having said that, what is D-Von on? There is bulking up and then there is D-von. What the hell? Still a decent match. Then the Wedding is there anyone in the world who did not see what was coming; coming? Really this was a waste of space. Yes I understand it was or a Heel turn but I would recommend doing what I did and just forward it. The big flop of the DVD for me.The match of the night was AJ Styles Vs Kurt Angle. Was there any doubt of this? Since this match was announced? Angle always brings his A game to the ring matching up with the Phenomenal one there is no way this match could have sucked. Great match. I am happy this was almost a one on one encounter. Both these athletes are at the level where they do not need gimmicks, and they make whoever they work with up their game to get to get to their level. Great match. The KOTM match was actually good. It was promoted well. Usually I do not like these matches too many people too many gimmicks. Luckily the match subscribed to the theory less is more. Less gimmicks and More wrestling. It actually turned out to be a very decent and credible match. They did not over use chair shots or table bumps, one of the better KOTM matches I have seen. All in all a good PPV, too bad about all the extra bits around Maryland, and of course the wedding, but all the wrestling was solid and well done.

One of the better tna ppvs
As usual with tna what it lacks in storylines and angles it makes up for with match quality - the main event is a cracking king of the mountain match between samoa joe, booker t, bobby roode, christian cage and Rhyno.
