Great rock grinder
I bought this tool and a diamond round over bit to put a finished edge on limestone hearth, mantle and wood box capstones. It worked great and I was very pleased with how it operated. The machine speed was perfect. I used it both in a wet and dry mode with no problems. It was a great value.

Great polisher for the price
I used this to polish a hand poured concrete counter-top for my outside bar/grill. Before the concrete set, I placed colored crushed glass in the surface and troweled everything smooth. After waiting a week for the concrete to cure I started the polishing process by using diamond impregnated grinding turbo cup to knock down any high spots and any flash from the forms. I then switched to the standard gray diamond polishing pads also available through Amazon. This polisher is a beast. The water feature really keeps the dust down but the shield only marginally deflects the spinning water. I recommend wearing a poncho. My only nit would be that the provided hose attachment is about 3ft too short but it could easily be replaced.

Power button sticks, not OK
The tool works great with one major exception, an exception I find to be unacceptable, after using the tool for only one hour, the power button was sticking significantly, making it hard to turn off. This seems to me to be a major safety issue, I cannot in good conscience recommend a power tool that struggles to turn off.

It is a very inexpensive wet polisher. Great value for the money
It is a very inexpensive wet polisher. Great value for the money. Not really suited for a production shop. Addressing some of the other reviews. The switch works great. You just have to put a little extra pressure and making sure it is fully engaged and it will lock into place. Regarding the electric shock. I have bought over 50 Wet polishers. Brands Include Makita, Flex, Alpha, Secco, Buddy Rhodes, and Hardin. I have yet to find one that does not give you a shock if you get water into the tool. This is one of the reasons that production shops use pneumatic polishers rather than electric polishers. Regarding the guard issue. I have never experienced this problem because I have never put a guard on any of the polishers. I own a granite shop. I have been in several granite Shops. I have yet to see a guard on any polisher. In my mind, they get in the way when you’re polishing stone. The issue I’ve had with the Harden polishers in the past relate mostly to failure to clean the tool. The switch is actually at the bottom of the tool and a lot of dust collects between the trigger and the actual switch. All in all, I believe this polisher is a well-built tool and if you clean it regularly most non-professionals will be happy with it

Great tool
I'm a 25 year tile installer. Works perfect to sand and bevel the occasional chipage from tile saws or cutters. Also works great as a hole saw. The built in water feature is messy but works great

Not bad if you are only going to use it once or twice.
As otherwise noted, there are nearly zero instuctions included with this. however it did not take me long at all to get this put together and working. On mine, the water attachment is different from what is shown (no quick-disconnect) The on-off switch is very difficult to turn off, to the point where I ended up unplugging it while using it. The swich was in the fully open position, and it was still running. I though I was getting mild shocks on one hand, but later realized that I had gotten a sliver, and was pressing against the sliver when running this. anybody who is still planning on buying one, should also look at getting a longer hose replacement. there is a tube which goes from a garden hose to the unit, and the tube is only about 15"-18" long, so I was constantly snagging the hose connector on something.

Decent value for one job, won't make it through two.
This worked relatively well for our first granite counter job, though not without some design problems. During our second job a year later the power switch became very flukey and then stopped working - fortunately on so we could use the GFI buttons to turn it off and on. This is a safety issue so I will be throwing it away after this job and getting the Makita if I have another job. We also had problems with the shroud staying on.

This tool is a great deal for the price. Nice long cord with a built in reset.

I purchased this for polishing rocks and rock slabs and it works perfect! Flings a lot of water around so a rubber apron is recommended to stay somewhat dry but it's easy to use and seems well made. Recommended

Simple to use, worked great for polishing our concrete outdoor table.

the water connection to the grinder cannot be put on tight or it will not allow water to pass. really easy to loosen it a little and set the double nut. the water hose has to be replaced right away lol curly spring action and really short I replaced mine with 10 feet of rubber hose for 5 bucks...... it's the cheapest one out there u get what you pay for..... on the plus side it runs great once u fix the water intake. pleanty of speed and torque for what I need. great for hobby use... not for industrial use if u want that pay 3 times as much!!!!!! tried it a 2nd time gave up after 2 hours of polishing
