Unique gadget
After I was introduced to the cheese curler in Europe, I just had to have one, though it has very limited use. It’s main use is for Tete de Moine Cheese ( which is expensive!) to shave it into very thin curls and other round solid cheeses (doesn’t work with soft cheeses). It also can be used to make chocolate curls. The item is not cheap but well constructed of solid hard wood and good quality steel blade. Just wish the knob on the blade handle was also made of wood or metal and the dome of glass instead of plastic. I hope both will hold up. Great conversation piece for wine and cheese parties!

Good product. Highly recommend.
I really like this product. The way it is designed is absolutely remarkable. Very easy to use, perfectly fits the whole cylinder of cheese which is very useful. The cheese curls come out very thin and perfect. The only thing that can be improved (imo) would be to have glass dome instead of plastic. I think it is more durable.

Love this cheese curler!
Happy to have found one in the US Make lovely cheese roses with this cheese curler. Love to have somet from my home country . Now if it would be easier to find the “ tete de moine” cheese at more stores and a more affordable price in the US it would be perfect. The curler and the roses are definitely a piece of conversation when having visitors over :)

Like it; however
I recently purchased one and it's quite unique. Like it; however, I expected the dome cover to be used while the cutter was enguaged. Nope, you have to remove the cutter in order to fit the dcome on the board. Also, I find that the cheeses, when pressed on to the holder, ten to want to crack and split. This ruins the effect. I think an additional tool should be offered to slice a small round wedge from the center of your cheeses before pressing on to the holder to help avoid any additional cracking and splitting of the cheeses; kind of like a stainless steel straw that is sharp on one end. Please let me know if Boska developes one of these as I will purchase it.

Unique and fun at a party
I gave this as a gift and it was such a hit that I ordered a couple more for friends. Of course, then I decided I needed one, too. So, needless to say, this has been approved by several people and is a keeper. I'd seen it used by a caterer at a party and it was the neat "flowers" it produced that nestled attractively in with the veggies and crackers on an appetizer tray. It's easy to use and fun to put out for friends to try. I found the Petite La Basquaise cheese wheel at Costco.

Perfectly functional but if I were to buy again I would buy the marble.
Works well. It’s made from wood so there is the possibility of warping. That is the only fault. If you have the extra $25 go ahead and spring for the marble. Totally worth it.

Boska's Cheese Curler is the best at what it does
We've used the Boska Cheese Curlers before while doing a wine and cheese demo for our wine club party and it was a big hit! So much so that we needed to buy two more to keep up with the customers and their cheese "flower". As an Amazon Prime customer, I not only received the best price out there but also received fast shipping which was just in time for our big event. Both Amazon and Boska deserve the 5 star rating and then some!

Poorly Built
The media could not be loaded. I wanted to love this product. However, it is poorly built. I am confident in calling this poorly built because the first one I received the wood base split within a week of having it (and yes, I know how to take care of wooden kitchen tools). The second replacement arrived and this time the center spoke to stab/hold the cheese does not screw in. Either it is a used product that was stripped or just poor quality. Either way it is being returned and I will try a different brand.Could it still serve its function? Yes. But the quality does not match the price tag. At best this product is worth MAYBE $10.
