Works, but red T-taps don’t fit 24AWG sensor wires without modification
I bought this TICONN T-tap kit specifically because I needed the red T-taps for a car alarm sensor that uses 24 AWG wire. During installation, I realized the red T-taps do not make contact at all when crimped normally, the metal U-shaped blade is too wide for such thin wires. I found a simple solution by using needle-nose pliers to slightly compress the U-shaped metal contact before installing it. After this small adjustment, the connector made proper contact and worked as intended with the 24 AWG sensor wire. I’m sharing this to help others who may buy this kit and find that the red T-taps don’t work with thinner wires out of the box. With a small adjustment using needle-nose pliers, they can be made to work. I would add a video so you can see how I did it, a lot of technicians knows that tricks and auto repair and alarm installers its a simple trick and it works fenomenal

The Quickest Way to Tap Power (Great for Automotive)
These T Tap connectors are fantastic for quickly and reliably tapping into an existing wire without cutting or stripping it. They are a massive time-saver for automotive wiring (like adding lights, accessories, or running a dashcam). The connection is solid; you simply clamp it down, and the metal blade pierces the insulation. The spade connector locks in securely and doesn't pull out easily. This kit gives you all the sizes you need for different gauge wires. Essential for fast, non-permanent electrical modifications.

Quality product with one major negative.
Quality product--however... The only minus is that the spade terminal is very difficult to push all the way onto the splice connector. It can be done, but it takes quiet an effort. Not an easy task if you're in an awkward position when attaching. I have discovered that it still makes the electrical connection even when pushed in only part way. Which is ok if you need the ability to detach/re-attach the wire later (which I do in may particular application). But, it could come loose if there's a lot of movement. I have noticed that once you do get the spade terminal pushed in all the way, and then remove it (which is also difficult), the subsequent attempts to attach/detach are easier. I guess the repeated process is widening the slot. If you don't need the ability to attach/detach, then it will definitely be a secure connection. Other brands that I've purchased do not have this issue. They slide on/off easier. All things considered, probably will not purchase this brand again.
