Strong nylon and the locking buckles are well designed, not to slip loose.

I needed straps for my automatic rehab bike b/c my feet easily slip off. These have worked out great. I have and keep them strapped around the pedals. When its time to use them I just lift up the top strap and slip my foot between it and the pedal.

This has good velcro adhesion, the buckle is good, it's easy to use.My only issue -- I hoped it would be a little heavier-duty. It's not as beefy as a common backpacking nylon strap. It's more like a man's medium-weight black stretch dress support hosiery. When it's stretched, it's easy to see through.I haven't used it enough yet to see how durable it is.

Elastic straps worked great to use on my soft knee braces to help keep them on. Price was great too. We couldn't find these anywhere else. I'm completely happy with these straps.

Somewhat thicker than I expected, but was able to squeeze it through the slots on the knee pads I bought it for.

Works well for my purpose.
