Love Chocolate Chocolate Truffle Tubes (Milk)

These taste like the milk chocolates I remember as a child of the 1950’s/60’s. A distinctive taste I love that is missing from today’s other milk chocolates. Bite the outer shell into soft yumminess. I will buy this brand again. Obviously the price makes it a treat. A great, indulgent gift idea. I’ll be looking for other chocolate with this brand. The sturdy boxes are easily reusable and with UnionJack bold colouring.

Delicious chocolate truffles in a lovely recyclable box. good for a treat now and again as a little expensive to purchase often. enjoyed very much!

I was so excited to try these truffles and have paid a premium for them. I knew I simply had to try them as they are British and don't contain palm oil and was more than willing to pay the extra as an occasional high quality treat. But unfortunately I didn't enjoy them that much. The outer casing doesn't melt in the mouth, the ganache inside isn't that smooth and I find the flavour quite harsh even though it wasn't an alcohol-infused flavour. Sad to feel this way as I want to buy British and support small businesses but probably won't buy again, sorry.

I cannot comment on the actual product as it was bought as a gift but the Patriotic packaging is first class!

Whilst on the expensive side, the product feels like it's a luxury item. The packaging is one of the best I've seen and the taste of the chocolate is smooth and all around wonderful. The packaging is also very environmentally friendly and because of how nice the packaging looks I fully intent to use the box to hold my pens at work! It's also important to support a small business, especially one with such a rich legacy. 99/100. I'd like it to be a little cheaper, but I'm miserly anyway!
