I really appreciated the affordability and was glad that it was not over-marketed to capitalize on pregnancy -- as other casting kits & companies do. That said, I used the kit unconventionally -- to make a 3D mask for Halloween -- and I could not have been more pleased. I used most of two kits to layer and thicken the mask. It turned out exactly as I expected. The mess was minimal and manageable. The strips were easy to work with -- just follow the given directions as is and you're good to go. * An added detail: make sure to smooth out the surface of the gauze when you apply it to ensure a smooth texture once dry. I did this inconsistently and it showed on my final product. The kit comes with a container of vaseline, gloves, and a small sander to smooth out the surface -- I didn't need to use it. The strips dry quickly and so far, it maintained it's integrity over time and multiple uses. In addition, you can paint over it with acrylic paint - the paint doesn't bleed and it maintains its vibrance. Overall it was a great fit for what I needed.

Such a great experience and makes fun memories. My daughters did this mold and it was very easy to use. Great value for your money, though I did need an additional roll. Be sure the wear something you won't miss. It came off my skin easily but ruined a pair of underwear and sports bra.

I bought a few books/journals when I found out I was pregnant bc I was unsure which one would be my favorite, and this one was :). This one has more of a journal feel vs a scrapbook feel and is most comfortable to write in. There is also plenty of "recap" pages after every few weeks so if there is an event that the book automatically left out (gender reveal for example), then you can add in details about that reveal date/guests in the extra recap pages section. I also appreciate the additional sections for weight/symptom changes. I think it will help keep my timeline of feelings and changes more "real". I would def recommend to any journaling or ATYPE friends :). This was also one of the less expensive items that I bought and still very pretty looking.

Bought for my friend who was pregnant and she said it was the only meaningful thing she got at her shower. Perfect option if you can’t decide what to get someone that’s pregnant

Was messy but such a good experience for my husband and I. Wish there was more of tge cast but for the price it's good.

Very good and comes with perfect amount , I did it while in labor at the hospital and it held up through drive home and days in the hospital I was huge ,38 weeks and 6 days so the amount would probably be even more for someone a bit smaller or not as far along it was JUST enough for my belly

Feel like very little strips/rolls are given end result felt frágil I’ve bought other brands and felt more sturdy

This was a great pregnancy journal, fun to fill in when I had the energy and not so big that it was overwhelming. Will be a great keepsake for years to come!

This was great fun and very messy, result was brilliant should have bought 2 boxes to cover more but one box would be ok.

Really beautiful and well-made book, with lots of pages to fill in. There is a section on the front to put a baby scan or picture, plus loads of pages to fill in. There are pages for details about all the stages in pregnancy, about how the parents are feeling, and for each month of the pregnancy. Really nice gift and will be a lovely thing to pass on to our daughter when she's older.
