Italy Map (National Geographic Adventure Map, 3304)

I love this map! It's the perfect size like a newspaper page and it has a tough texture and all the unesco sites!

The National Geographic series of maps has been our first choice for both France and Italy this year. On both trips the maps were terrific. I am the navigator, and I like to have a map in my lap and the GPS directions in my hand. GPS is great for getting to a place, but there is nothing like a map for knowing where you are. These maps have sufficient detail to keep you well oriented and to assist you in choosing destinations for excursions. We could plan driving loops by identifying small towns on the map and then inputting them sequentially into the GPS to keep us on small scenic roads. Sometimes the whole point is the beautiful drive with frequent little stops, and not the destination. I love the slightly laminated material of the maps. It makes them easy to handle, easy to fold, and very durable.

Would have liked to have both north and south Italy on one side as our trip will take us to both areas but the detail is excellent!

We spent two and a half weeks travelling all over Italy. This map was very helpful in planning our trip and guiding us as we drove hundreds of miles and flew to several areas from the southern tip in SIcily to the northern portion of the Alps. Smart phones are great for many types of travel, but there is nothing like a map to quickly and effectively see what I want to see and access in any area, large or small.

This fold-up map is printed on high quality paper with easy to read (but small because of the level of detail) print and should last a long time. My wife and I will use it when we travel to Italy.

Perfect map. Not too big and bc plastic can fold and is durable. Will basically last forever.

イタリア全土が表と裏に二分割されています。都市の位置関係がよく分かるので、旅行の計画をたてるのに便利です。アドベンチャーというのは、耐水加工がしてある地図のシリーズ名のようですが、1000000分の１のこの地図に耐水性が必要かな、とも思います。このシリーズの、トスカーナやシシリーなどなら耐水性も有効なのでは。 また、ドライブに使うのであれば、同縮尺のミシュランの方が情報が豊富で安心だと思います。

I recently took a trip to Italy, and ordered this map in advance to assist in planning our destinations and driving routes. Like any map, it is quite large when fully open, but can easily folded back without damaging, to focus on smaller areas. It was great to be able to highlight the places we were visiting so that we could basically see our whole trip on one map at a glance. Coupled with the GPS on our phones, this map made a great addition to the enjoyment of planning our our trip to Italy!

I love this series of weatherproof maps from NG. Just enough detail on the "country" maps to plan your visit and pretty indestructible when you're there.

I love that this map us waterproof and tear resistant, yet it folds up just like a regular paper map. Well done National Geographic!👏
