Sennheiser CX 300S In Ear Headphone with One-Button Smart Remote - Red

They sound good but are very uncomfortable for sleeping. I use ear buds to sleep to drown out the annoying snoring coming from my husband's side of the bed. I thought I would try out these Senheiser CX 300S ear buds because they were not too much more than the JBL T290 ear buds I was replacing (for the third time in 4 months making them much cheaper if they actually lasted). I paid $16.99 for each pair of the JBL's and the Senheisers were like $35 so it seemed like a good choice. They do seem durable with a metal casing (which is probably why they are uncomfortable for sleeping). They do sound a little richer than the JBL's which would have made them so much better for sleeping. I am keeping them to wear for streaming or to listen to music during the day.

If you want good quality speakers, look no further than Sennheiser. You could probably get better speakers if you are willing to pay more for the privilege, but for the price you pay these are good speakers. My music sounds great. They are comfortable. Also the microphone works when I use it for phone calls. And I know this seems like a small thing, but the cord feels unusually sturdy and it really is kind of "tangle-free". Unlike other products I have used, this cord really does resist tangling, and it just feels sturdy. Nowadays, I see many people using those wireless earbuds. If you are like me, looking technology-forward is not your main concern when choosing earphones. I want good sound. And for every dollar I spend, I want that money going into the speakers, not in wireless technology. For me the wires are not a problem at all and I'm perfectly happy to have the wires as long as they come with good speakers attached. I will add that the wires are symmetric, which I very much prefer. I don't like the kind where the main wire goes up to one ear and then a secondary wire goes over to the other year. It's a very good product overall. I've been using mine for a few months with no complaints. I rank this 5 stars for giving me everything I could expect for the money I spent.

I previously owned Skull Candy Ink'd headphones, but the microphone broke. I've owned expensive Sennheiser open backed headphones that I love, so I thought I'd give these a try. First off, the construct is high quality. All of the tangible parts feel great and you know they took great care in designed them. The audio jack is skinny and will fit into your phone even if it has a bulky case. At the time, my skull candy earbuds were about $20, so comparing the audio between these and them, I'd say the Sennheiser sounds AT LEAST two times better. Like other Sennheiser products, the treble and base are well balanced, The sound comes in softer than cheaper earbuds and the best way to describe cheap earbuds is they BLURT music instead of it being carefully constructed. Not to talk these up too much because you are buying earbuds. I haven't heard an earbud sound nearly as good as a quality pair of headphones. These are great for recreational use: running, hiking, working out or routine housework. I saw a couple of reviews talk about noise cancellation. you DO NOT get noise cancellation with these. They give you plenty of tips to fit your ear as best as possible. If you have the right fit, its like wearing foam ear plugs and most of the ambient noise is blocked. However, it does not feel like foam earplugs and the ergonomic design fits the ear very well and is very comfortable. Overall for the price, it is a really great product, and if you're like me, you'll use them for years.

As expected from Sennheiser, these earbuds are of excellent quality and are extremely durable considering I have an awful habit of getting corded headphones caught on/tangled in things. The audio quality is great, highs are crisp and miss are clear, although the bass response is not as strong as I'd like. However, this is to be expected since the brand focuses on balance as opposed to bass punchiness. Comes with four different earbud sizes which I appreciate, although it would be nice to have multiples of each in case they get lost. Overall, they're definitely amazing considering the price tag.

I think the big thing to note here is how easily the earbud rotates with respect to its housing. Because it is inadequately secured, I found myself having to constantly rotate it so that it sat correctly in its original configuration. It would get messed up if the earbuds got yanked out of my ear for whatever reason (usually cat). This quickly resulted in the earbud coming entirely detached from the base held on by nothing except the two wires that send the signal/power to the little speaker in there, which inevitably led to a loss of sound, and so now it's just all the way broken. The sound was pretty good, totally satisfied with that. Just the durability is subpar. I have had a lot of earbuds in my time. These earbuds are less durable than most of the earbuds I've had. Below average durability. Given the price, I can't recommend them. If they would have lasted a year I would have had no complaints. They didn't. Therefore, this is my complaint.

Dishonest Manufacturer - Sennheiser's 1 year warranty is worthless - DO NOT BUY PRODUCTS FROM THIS COMPANY

I have loved and supported sennheiser headphones for a long time. From the studio headphones I used for years recording to the original $100 everyday earbuds sennheiser was the company that finally made bose say uncle!. I Haven't had a pair in 2 or 3 years I had a son who is now 3 so I haven't had a ton of free time. It goes without saying I was VERY! EXCITED!!! :-) to receive and open this package. I knew I was headed to a long hard day of work that morning when I went to grab the package shortly after the notification. I happily stashed the package for a nice little me time unboxing later on. WORST UNBOXING SURPRISE EVER, NO EARPHONES no pouch just extra buds and the instructions. My package was picked up by me minutes after my notification sealed and showed no sign of tampering. Leading me to believe they may have been removed somewhere in the actual Amazom chain. I'm a prime member im pretty sure Amazon will resolve with a replacement if not reimbursement. Maybe then that feeling of putting in good headphones and forgetting everything else will be achieved All is well as expected Amazon quickly got a package sent out asap with a box actuality containing product. As I expected they sounded great for the price. Seem to be the closest under $150 sennheiser earbuds with a sound quality review over 4 stars since the sale of the company which saw a huge change in marketing and quality. I wanted to spend a bit more, I wanted the old senny bang for your buck buds. I learned that as far as reputable reviewers said i had to buy a second fiddle obscure release $50 pair on sale for $30. Sennheiser the review gods of old haven't been cracking the 4 level in years. I found the pair to compete with your bose or Sony mid level 4+ sound review this was where I landed with these. New logo and odd shaped but fit the ear canal like a dream and sound great for it. Who knew
