Bright, soft light
Excellent choice for a 12V pre-wired LED. I got the warm whites. If you're a tint snob, here's the details: ~3400K on my meter, technically has a positive duv (greenish tint) but I found the overall light quality to be very pleasant. Interestingly these are fairly low-CRI, in fact they tested lower than the average cold white emitter at around 55CRI. Not enough to knock a star off because of the value, but just beware if you're specifically looking for high CRI and accurate color rendering, this isn't your emitter.

Only needed a couple but nice to have extras on hand
For some electronic projects around the house, with varying voltages from 5VDC to 12VDC, I would like to have some status lights included. These LEDs fit the bill nicely. Although the leads are around 30 gauge (measured 0.31mm thick on the tinned ends), their 7" usable length is plenty. The first 0.8" is the heat shrink around the built-in series resistor so if you have a shallow mounting place, be aware you'll need about an inch below the base of the LED to route the wires. Intensity is quite good even at 5V - tested with an old cell phone AC adapter rated at 4.9V. Current draw at 5V is about 5mA when the LED is on. Items arrived in a thin, long cardboard box, inside what looks like an antistatic ziploc bag. Quick count seems to say that there are 52 LEDs in here. First use will be in a project I'm doing to convert a battery operated only device to allow normal use of an AC adapter but fall back to the battery pack if AC power is lost. A coaxial power jack and a relay is all that's required, along with a bit of re-wiring of the power leads inside the device. The LED will flash whenever main AC power is off. I know that using a flashing green light to indicate a loss of power seems to go against more logical choices (red, yellow), but I chose green for the brightness over those others. The device already has a built-in flashing red LED to indicate low battery so that's another reason to go with green.

buy these!- good quality parts, nicely packaged and priced right
good quality parts, consistently assembled, look nice. the individually color coded wires are nice too. my application is to light the front fender turn signal indicators on my 67 dodge. originally lit by an small inandescent filament bulb in 1967, i was unsure what color would yield the amber look i needed in the end, so this assortment pack is perfect. i assumed id want the yellow or orange leds to light the indicator, i was surprised when i learned WHITE gave the right color in the end! Glad i bought this assortment, as i have lots of colors and bulbs left to tinker with the countless other projects in the back of my mind 🙂 not as bright as i hoped, but i didnt know what to expect or how to measure the lux or lumens anyway. overall a great value for the money

Good quality for the price
I held purchases for my father he was extremely happy with them. He has continued to use them on other vehicles

Nice color set. 😁👍🛒
This is a nice set of LED's. which LED lights last longer that other typical small lights. The LED bags show the wire color to identify the Cathode and the Anode when wiring. So pretty straight forward and can be used on any project you have going on to add lighting.

A bright idea for a low tech issue...
I bought these as a simple way to confirm whether a security camera is frozen or actually showing live footage. The area under surveillance doesn’t change much, and I’ve found that many modern cameras tend to lock up during 24/7 monitoring. This particular camera watches an area prone to theft and was set up to be intimidating. Flashing lights makes it be just that. The problem is that when the camera locks up, it’s hard to tell unless I notice the second hand isn’t moving. Because it’s an infrared camera, everything is shades of gray. White text over a gray background is hard to see, but a few blinking lights is not hard to see. That’s where these come in. I wired the LEDs to a USB 5V → 12V fan speed controller so I can adjust the blink rate by varying the voltage (5V faster, 12V slower). It’s a neat, low-effort solution. I only needed four, but they come in packs of 50... so for rougly $10 I’ve basically got a lifetime supply. Build quality is solid for what they are. I just stripped the wire housing and connected the leads to my power source. The size was perfect for my setup.

Very bright for the size
Super bright for such a tiny light

Great to teach kids about LEDS, and for projects. Resistors built in so just add a battery of other DC source.

Great LED's with terrific colours. Ready to be connected directly to 12v. I am using them in a marine environment with great results. Sent to me on time and well packaged.

Used these to light a 4mm scale model building. By turning down the voltage you get a dimmer light and the LEDs should last longer. They come with a resistor attached so it's dead easy to add more in parallel.

Es justo lo que necesitaba, muy bien protegido funcionan al 💯👍

Llegó en tiempo y forma. Buena calidad de soldadura y protección con termoencogible. La luz que emiten los leds es de baja intensidad.
