Urine test strips made me want to scratch my head -- but I couldn't because one hand was clutching the bottle with the color guide while the other was holding the used strip. Every time, the best I walked away with was...a good guess.Breath analyzers were a joke. Depending on how hard I blew, I would get readings anywhere from 0.5 to 8.9 -- within a 5 min time frame. What? Sure, I could probably, eventually train myself to blow consistently, but how do I know what "breath strength" will give me the right readings?So I finally caved and splurged on this blood meter. Blood meters are the most expensive option, since I'll likely have to buy blood test strips and lancets forever...or for as long as I stick to the Keto diet, anyway.But I'd rather pay more for something that's accurate and consistent than save money on things that might or might not work, right?I was able to open the box and get the whole shebang going within a minute. The directions were simple and easy to follow (a bit redundant, though, to have the quick start guide AND the owner's manual AND the paper insert, all with the exact same instructions). And, thank goodness, they're in perfect, easy-to-understand English and not in size 2 font (I hate instruction manuals that come in teeny tiny print!). The lancet holder was intuitive to lock & load, the test strips were in a secure capsule, the meter itself only needed batteries (included) to get up and running, loading the test strip into the meter was simple, and... really, what took the longest was trying to guess which number setting to use with the lancet to draw enough blood without hurting myself, then actually gathering the courage to do the deed. I started at 2, but it wasn't strong enough to draw any blood, so I took a deep breath, moved the dial to 3, and...click! Second time was the charm. Perfect little drop of blood, and absolutely NO pain at all. I'd worried for nothing!Placed the blood drop against the strip, heard a beep, waited 10 seconds, and - voila - a clear reading of 2.9, exactly where I wanted to and should have been.This is my first time using a blood meter, so I don't have a basis of comparison with other brands and models, but KetoBM definitely does exactly what I need it to do. It even saves your last 180 readings, including time and date of the readings. And bonus -- everything comes neatly packed in a handy, compact storage case.No guesswork, no head scratching, no straining my eyes at a tiny pee stick trying to compare one shade of mauve to a slightly darker shade of mauve, no blowing into a breath meter to the point of dizziness, trying and trying again only to get 10 different readings. Just load, lock, prick, and...done!Why didn't I get this blood meter sooner?

The media could not be loaded. This meter is super affordable and gives fast results. It comes in a handy carrying case and with a nice supply of lancets and strips to get started testing. The design is hand friendly, the battery is long lasting, and it provides accurate measurements. It's the perfect device for making sure I remain in ketosis.

Inexpensive and easy to use. Started Keto in August 2017, ended in December 2021 after losing more than 65 lbs and keeping it off for years. I had 3 level neck surgery in 2021 so I stopped and now I am only 10 lbs less than I started at in 2017. No bueno.I fasted and now am back on again. Took my ketone reading and am sitting at 1.0. Started this journey on 10/1/24 and am down 9 lbs. Saying this so first, you know I know what I am talking abou; two, I have used nothing but blood meters since starting; and three, yes it is inexpensive, but it works as well as any of the 4 meters I have used in the past.

Great for keto ketosis levels. It is important to keep track of them. To high can be dangerous to low and you want burn fat. Ease of use with the machine. No problems at all self explanatory. Only thing I would say neg is the price of the strips and supplies. They are more then the machine itself.

I purchased this meter in 2023 ... it does a great job let me know where I'm at in ketosis. It's easy to use ... pay attention to which direction you're putting the strips in or it doesn't work lol. I've not had any problems with it whatsoever and it's been 2 years. I've not replaced batteries only reordered strips. I would recommend this product to others :)

This device is not accurate. I noticed ketone levels that seemed off, so I started doing 2 tests at a time. I saw large variances in results. From 3.0mm to 1.7mm within minutes of each other. Another time I saw 0.5mm up to 3.6mm within minutes of each other.

I have done Keto for a long time. Out of all the machines this is by far the most accurate. They are so good with customer service. They answer right away and help with whatever is needed. Ana from CS has been very good to us. They stand behind their product and make sure you are always happy.

Wish was the AAA was a watch battery for long uses,some they do,strange not this one, only down side on this,Thou Their test strips, great price than most,I would strongly suggest to stock up,other brand I found like lpow will stop selling,then I had to buy another brand and stock up,so easy to run out,plan a head,I do several months at a time for the test strips,less worrys,if your serious about monitoring your health.
