I've been struggling with pretty moderate acne for over 6 years now... not quite severe, but pretty bad. My skin was nowhere near clear, and I always had to wear makeup to try and hide it. I tried countless moisturizers, cleansers, wipes, creams, masks. Then my aunt who is a scientist at a company who produces all natural products suggested this. She and her teenage daughter used this, and while I was staying with them I tried it out. I noticed an immediate improvement in my skins appearance the very first day. I was so happy that I bought some for myself when I got back (shipping was fast and the product wasn't damaged in any way).I have been using this cleanser for about 3 months and my skin hasn't looked this good since I was a kid. It's smooth and almost completely free of acne. I still have a few spots, but my acne is nowhere near as horrible as it was before I started using this product. It doesn't contain harsh chemicals so it doesn't severely dry out your skin. At first I used it in the morning and night, but now that my acne has pretty much cleared up I only use it at night. It has a nice earthy smell that makes you feel good about using it. This product is definitely worth the purchase. It saved my skin.Update: It's been 5 months and I'm still on my first bottle. My acne is almost completely gone :)

This is the second time in a row where I received a product from you with a faulty pump. Can't use it if the pump doesn't work!

My favorite go to face cleaner! I have combo skin and due to psoriasis sensitive skin! This foam face wash does NOT irritate my face . It leaves my face feeling clean but not stripped

I have extremely oily skin, and most washes either make it oily-er or dry it out. I’ve been using this for years after an esthetician recommended the brand, and it’s just fabulous. And I usually get it here on Amazon cheaper than through Aveda.com - def recommend!!

Absolute best face wash ever. If you have acne it will clear it up. So good.

I am sorry to leave a bad review for this product. The cleanser is honestly the best I have ever used! Perfect for combination skin, does not cause too much dryness and leaves skin feeling clean and refreshed. Unfortunately, the bottle is often defective and you either can’t get any cleanser out of the pump, or it comes out as an unusable liquid rather than a foam. I have called Aveda to report the issue and they advised that they were aware of the problem. They did offer a replacement bottle, which was such a kind offer, but I can’t afford to buy a product that I have to throw away half the time (I’ve probably tossed 6 bottles this year). I’m so disappointed to have to search for a new cleanser, but I will continue to use other Aveda products.
