Who am I kidding? Who really goes on weeks long vacations anymore? What i'm referring to is when you aren't able to water potted plants in your yard. I used to have my neighbor water my potted citrus and other plants when she'd come over to feed the cats. Then I thought about how I had a drip irrigation system for everything else. Why couldn't I automate my potted plant watering situation? Some online research netted me the result for this product.I already am an avid Claber user. I swear by their irrigation timers. This product is as great as everything else I have from the company. I also have the solar-powered timer, so you'll need that for full automation. Set up was a breeze, and I haven't stopped using it since I made my trip in April! That's how lazy I am. Besides, it's more efficient for water to slowly drip around the roots of these plants than for me to douse the whole pot with the hose.The other nice thing about this product is that you have an emergency water supply on hand at all times if you keep it even partially filled. Yes, you'd need to purify it, but there are products for that I've heard :). I live in earthquake country, so we're supposed to have water on hand "just in case." Heck, everyone should have water on hand "just in case."I wish I had purchased this item sooner. That is my only regret!

The. Connector was put on backwards and it has a flared end so it has no support on one leg. I was going to texture and reorder but they was out of stock. So I'm stuck with a defective product
