It's fun, gooey and interactive. Gets the kids off those video games for awhile. Love that you collect all the toys inside. Comes with a kid safe cutter to cut open the alien that turns into tweezers to pull out the treasures inside. The only thing that I would change is when you cut open the alien their is a bag inside that holds all the goo and treasures. It makes it a little confusing at first and hard to move that bag out of the way enough to get the treasure after you have cut it open. Great fun and will buy more in the future. Love that the goo can be squeezed out of the head. Little extra added fun for the kids.

So freaking cool! My 6yo (at the time) son, who typically loses interest very quickly, played with this for at LEAST an hour. There are so many different and fun elements hidden inside the case. It was a gift so it's definitely giftable. Even us parents had fun watching our son dive in! Each and every new surprise was super cool! The Treasure X pirates that come in a tin are just okay. This one is WAY COOL! Highly recommend! ☆☆☆☆☆

Was a stocking stuffer for my 7 year old son at Christmas. He really enjoyed taking it all apart. We had some issues figuring out how it was all supposed to go together with the slime (instructions were kind of iffy) so we just did our own thing with it. The cavity was hard for him to cut open so I had to do that for him. It's pretty cool but honestly he hasn't touched it since. I do appreciate that there is a compartment to keep the slime in though.

My boys were both stoked for this toy to release. They’d seen one of their favorite YouTuber’s make a video reviewing it before it released. I have to say, I’m quite pleased as well. Toys these days cost a fortune and usually aren’t worth keeping around for more then a few days. This item is inexpensive and is a really cute new toy. If you use your imagination, there’s no limits to how long you could play with it. Even if your child isn’t the most creative, you’ll still get your moneys worth out of it. They get to dissect the alien, play with the slime, and search for the hidden action figure. My favorite part as a parent...there are no tiny pieces and the packaging is very intentional. The tube it comes in holds everything perfectly, easy storage. It even has an extra space separated for you to put the slime in and save to play with without making a mess. Best new toy that’s come out in awhile!

I purchased this as a gift for my young grandson. This was the 1-item he just had to have. LOL Needless to say, his happiness upon opening up this gift, especially given that this was the number 1 item he wanted the most, made the it worth the money. As grandma, I was shocked at what it was, and given the price, I had just thought it would have been something more. But, my grandson was so happy, and that is all that mattered.

The positives: my 6 year old really likes the creature that he got out of the goo (and particularly the sword which is gold and detailed). The negatives: the slime is not like typical slime. It got on my wool couch and has stained it, so parents beware... it also was a very short lived toy. We have purchased and gifted many of the dig for treasure kits and prefer these over the slime one.

Awesome presentation and very giftable!!! I gave this to my 8-year-old nephew as an early Christmas present and he was over the moon!!! He spent over an hour dissecting this alien with its’ slimy-goo. He played with the final result (won’t ruin the surprise) for even longer! This was time well spent off the iPad and not watching TV. The only negative is that it was very hard to open. The child will need adult help. Please follow the directions on the bottom of the tube before trying to open. I also put down newspaper before he opened the ooze pouch.
