Motorcraft YG360 Emission Vacuum Valve, white

I had a mystery HVAC vacuum "leak" on my 2007 Explorer that two shops could not figure out. They replaced the check valve with a generic one. Well, long story short, you have to replace with this one, the Motorcraft. Don't ask me why but it fixed the issue instantly.

2005 F-150 FX4 had IWE noise on the front left. My truck has two check valves and I replaced both. No tools necessary. It took about 2 minutes and it fixed the issue.

Perfect fit and quality in 2010 Ford Explorer

This was verified to fit my engine, though the outlet tube is a larger size than OEM. The inlet tube is the same. On my engine, both tubes are the same diameter. I was easily able to press it in, and I used a small tie wrap to make sure it stays in place. I am concerned the hose will split some day, but there's plenty of flex, and I know I can just trim it slightly and shove it back on. I'll find the proper fit... eventually :) It does work perfectly, and my air is cold and consistent.

This Lil one way valve can cause alot of problems with 4wd. Make sure to check that.

I’m so glad that video recommend this product. Although the one being replaced is the same size on both ends(see pic), this replacement worked perfectly! Amazon said it wouldn’t fit my vehicle (2009 Ford Explorer Sport Trac), but it worked great; the hoses slipped on the barbed ends like it WAS made for this vehicle. The one Amazon recommended definitely doesn’t fit. The dealer and a local mechanic said my maintenance issue wouldn’t be a quick fix and could take weeks due to parts being discontinued. The dealer couldn’t even order any parts and said to find a complete harness to fix the problem. This one $9 part and 15 seconds, fixed the problem I was having. Apparently it’s common for automobiles with vacuum HVAC systems.

A very frustrating rattle began a few weeks ago on my truck only when accelerating. After spending some time researching someone posted a video on the Ford F150 Owners Facebook group and the solution which was posted in that posts comments section brought me here to buy this part. It was so easy to change that a caveman could do it. I found a YouTube video on how to change it out and walla, no more rattle noise! Need to say this was the best $8 that I have spent in a while. Sure, I could have had the dealer change it, but it was so easy to do (and I am handy) that I figured I would save time not sitting at the dealer and do it myself. It took me 1 minute to do. Just make sure you put it in the color orientation as the one you take out.

Worked perfectly. Amazon was the only place I can find it.
