Hydrochloric Acid 37% Reagent Grade for High Purity Aqua Regia (Quart)

I use this, diluted, to remove calcium carbonate deposits from saltwater aquarium equipment. Works perfectly, and reagent grade means I'm not added unwanted contaminants to my reef systems. :)

I bought some Hydrochloric Acid 37% Reagent Grade as a last resort, to clean my stained toilet after many unsuccessful attempts with worthless You Tube type remedies. My toilet had lime and rust stains that had resisted all previous cleaning attempts. The Hydrochloric Acid worked quickly and effectively, but it is DANGEROUS and if you intend to use it you MUST follow strict safety precautions i.e. eye protection, face masks, ventilation (switch on extractor fans), don't sniff it. I plungered out most of the water from the toilet, poured in half (about a pint) of the Hydrochloric Acid, watched it fizz and bubble, then ran away for about 20 minutes. On my return, behold, a sparkling clean toilet - all rust and lime stains had gone. Depending on the amount of staining, 20 minutes may not be long enough. Let me re-emphasize this is powerful, dangerous stuff. Please read all safety instructions and know what to do in the event of an accident.

Bought this to replace the citric acid I was using as my MMS activator as recommended by the folks over at miracle of water (dotcom). It can be scary stuff but handle carefully and follow the safety guidelines that come with it. It gives off fumes and protect the surface you're working on. Works great for the formula I use to make MMS1 for healing.

Again same as last time should have more safety instructions and really shouldnt be asking people to smell hydrochloric acid when they write the review unless you want people to burn the inside of there nose and lungs not to bright go by the percentage if you need to use it go online and look up what percent acid you should use in what your applying it to and also carefully read instructions before you start mixing any acids you can seriously hurt yourself or others if not used properly or if the room is not have special ventilation only use outdoors unless you have special indoor exhaust units like I said inhaling can cause major damage I use for melting metals and refining gold always were goggles industrial strength and a approved hazmat mask and air filtration if you can smell the chemicals through the mask I would get a new mask asap you should not smell any chemicals when you are wereing a hazmat mask and I would also wear heavy boots and a thick leather apron and always were rubber gloves as well it will burn right through your ski.
