Electrosocket Jack Plate for Telecasters - Polished Nickel Finish

I don't know why Fender is not putting these on their Telecaster guitars.Looks great and holds great.

If you know how flimsy the original tale jacks could be, you know this thing is a god send! It works perfectly and now I don’t have to worry about any twisting. Great price too, worth every penny!

This is a replacement that is worth installing even on a new Telecaster.. In my case, the retention spring was missing in a used "PartsCaster" I bought. The jack mounting cup kept falling out. This nicely machined and classy looking mount not only stays put, but makes plugging in much easier.

Its round, has threads, a couple screws and fits in a hole with a output jack attached.It would be pretty hard to screw that up, so they didn't.

The inability to use a right angle cable on my tele was always a source of annoyance for me. This fixed that issue. You may need to reconfigure some of the little pieces inside your input area to get this to work but it does the trick and looks nice. Surface scratches easily so if you care about aesthetics be gentle when installing.

The purchase was easy to make and installation was easy as well. Researching I had concerns on the fit (American vs MIM) but it fit and the jack threaded fine. Although I saw that you could install the plate without the nut I felt it gave a tighter, firmer fit imo. With that in mind I wish the the screws were a little more recessed and would have liked the screw to be a bit longer, but for what I paid, the build quality and ease of install I am very pleased. Why Fender doesn't come with a plate like this I'll never understand, if you own a Tele you know what I mean . . . Would highly recommend this Bad Boy without reservation.

Whenever I get a new Telecaster, I immediately install one of these. Then, I never think about an output jack again, until it needs to be replaced!! Once installed, which is easy... it won't wiggle or push through. And, you're only worry will be... Why doesn't Fender just build their telecasters with these??? 🤷🏼‍♂️
